I put this U.S. Pool Supply Premium Pool Surface Skimmer on the side of my 15 foot round Intex Pool. This skimmer is the best! It stays against the wall, the plastic piece that holds the basket in is long, so it doesn't bob up and down at all... and no need to weigh down the basket. All of the pieces that come for the Skimmer are high quality. It can be used for two types of pools (see description). This surface skimmer picks up the tiniest pieces of dirt and works way better than the other Blue/White Filter that I've been using for years. Cleaned up the pool in one night with filter running.

We use it for our stock tank pool it works good, but the clamps do not clamp on the side well, had to rig it up lol. Works good for skimming the top.

This skimmer is ok for anybody just looking to have a skimmer without making any alterations to your pool. Not very effective. It catches some debris. The design is it's flaw. Plastic after 1 season is noticeably faded from contact with the chlorinated water. Looks to be susceptible to becoming brittle. I'll find out this next season. Go with a different product, with a better design to not allow debris to miss the skimmer. Better yet, get a hold of your pool manufacturer and get their advice on approved alternative skimmers

Love this for our index pool. We didn’t have one for about first to months and it was awful with bugs, etc….with this, 99.5% of the bugs etc was caught.

This is an updated to a review I left after installing it. I was really happy with it. It seemed to work better than the intex skimmer. As long as no one is in the pool, and it is set at the perfect height, it works pretty good. But I’ve noticed over the last couple times we have entered the pool, if there are bugs and such in it at the top, everything just splashes out and ends up floating back in the pool. I ordered an Intex skimmer just before writing this update. I like that this one sits perfect and is smaller, but the functionality of it, is disappointing.Really sad, cause I like the looks and the size of it.

I purchased this for my Bestway pool. The clamp for my type of pool is very cheap and actually broke when installing. I currently have it hooked up with the hook for the inflatable pools which I need to keep readjusting. With the swimming season almost over I don’t want to go through the hassle of returning and trying something different. I cannot seem to find the link to reach out to seller for a replacement piece so I guess I just have to make do.

After 10mins of the installation, the surface of the pool was clean. Remember to keep it clean before you swim or the collected debris will flow out.

Cheap mounting bracket cracked. It didn't last a full weekend.
Save your time and money—avoid this product! The skimmer function worked great while it lasted, but it didn’t even survive one weekend of use. The cheap plastic construction cracked almost immediately, which is completely unacceptable. If you’re in the market for a reliable pool skimmer, look elsewhere. This one simply doesn’t hold up.
