I tried a few other brands, but nothing really compared, until I found this one. Arm & Hammer is very similar to the old ALL Original. The scent is pleasant, the clothes come out fresh, and it’s affordable, especially for the size. It’s also gentle enough for everyday loads but strong enough to get things really clean. I’ve been buying it ever since, definitely a repeat customer now.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have used Arm and Hammer laundry detergent for over 15 yrs now. It cleans as well as Tide and Gain at a 1/3 the price. I buy the most economical size per ounce then transfer it into my larger Arm and Hammer container with a spout. Whatever size you choose to buy, it is still the most economical and effective detergent out there. It also has a great scent which you have various choices including sensitive and non scented.

I use a little less than what a normal load would recommend. It cleans very well, I do not break out with this detergent and I like the scent, it isn't too overpowering. I use ammonia or vinegar with it. My whites stay white and my colors don't appear to fade. Overall I like this product.

Arrived intact and sealed. Delivery was quick. This is my regular detergent and have use it for years. Arm and hammer has been around a long time, and I appreciate its reputation for quality goods. This has a nice scent and is effective. I have sensitive skin and generally have no issues with it.

For me the best liquid detergent is tide followed by persil. The worst I have tried is Era. I would say these are in the middle. If tide was 10 and era was 1, I would say these are a 6. We have 2 boys in year round baseball, so we are always doing laundry and looking for value. Minus using "iron out" nothing perfectly cleans baseball pants. Tide works pretty well, in getting rid of most of the baseball dirt; ERA you might as well just run your washing maching without detergent. If Tide removed about 80 perfect of baseball dirt, with Arm and Hammer, you can tell you washed the baseball pants but the stain is still noticeable. With ERA, your coach will ask if your child even washed his uniform.4 stars because it is reasonably priced

Very Good
My skin reacts very strongly too most dish soaps and laundry detergents. Breaking out in severe rash and/or hives. Many other laundry detergents I have tested worked for my skin reaction. But, didn't get the clothes clean.Arm and Hammer does a great job on getting my clothes clean and keeping my skin intact.
