Love, Love, LOVE my Garmin Forerunner 965!! I switched from an apple watch and the only thing I really miss at all was the ability to "Close my Rings" in Activity and Health. Garmin has much better training stats and I'm loving the gps/maps for my trail running. This baby lasted through a marathon and still had battery life to go! My apple watch could NEVER. The features are superior from any previous watch, and I very much think it was worth the hefty price! I'm still getting used to having to use the buttons on the side to clear notifications etc, but I'm slowly adapting to how this watch functions!! As for how comfortable, light, and nice it fits on me– I'm a pretty small gal! I'm 5'3" and 120lbs soaking wet haha, I was worried about this watch being too heavy and big on my wrist but it fits quite well! It doesn't bug me on my wrist while I'm active, or even while I'm sleeping! I do wish it came with instructions on how to change the band, but youtube and a quick google search will give me the information I need! I do really like that the watch had a black colored metal option for the bezel of the watch, as I only wear gold jewelry and would've been a bit bummed if my watch was silver. I know that's minor, but black looks so much sleeker with the clothes I wear and whatnot, and I feel that it doesn't look too distracting since it's darker.

The Garmin 965 has been a game changer on my running journey! After a week of analyzing my sleep routine as well as workouts and daily steps, the 965 has formulated a plan to get me ready for my Marathon! This watch has a large amount of functionality and suggested based learning tips! It feels great and is very comfortable! The battery has lasted longer then my previous Garmin, even after a weeks worth of using GPS to track my activities! I like the morning notifications from the overnight analyzing process and the days suggested training plan. I wear this watch everyday, all day and it has proven to be durable so far. I'm glad I upgraded from the Instinct Solar version I had!

This is a very good training watch. Super accurate. Worth every dollar spent. Have improved significantly in my pace time due to having the watch and knowing exactly what my pace is at any time. No more carrying my heavy phone for music, as this watch has music service ability.

I've had the 965 since November and it is awesome. There are some great reviews online for all the features except for 1.There is a feature where you can connect your watch to Garmin Messenger and text friends and family using the gps from your watch!!! Amazing, there is even Messenger app on the 965 by default under activities and I think other. You can setup canned responses in Messenger(iphone app) and use your watch to send those messages. You do have to have Garmin Connect + but it is only 7 bux a month. I can even text pics of my location. I like this because I go deep in the woods where there is little to no coverage but I can still text via messenger app on my iphone. I also have a garmin 1030 bike computer that I use TrailForks navigation but it often gets stuck because it is older and the gps is not as good. My 965 saved the day where even in the woods I get a clear signal and if my 1030 looses my location my 965 is dead on.I use strava to track my activities and especially over the last 2 years my fitness has increased almos 900%!! Krazy right? I attribute this huge gain to the 965.I've also tried the Garmin Run plan with a goal distance of a 5k and now I'm doing the run plan with Greg via Garmin and it is awesome. You pick the days you want to work out and it does the rest. This has really motiveated me to run more consistently. The Coach greg plan you do lots of easy runs, track intervals, hill repeates and long runs. I love it.If you want to get in shape get the 965!!****Update 20250801I have used it to navigate back to start several times. If you hold the upper right button and go to save location it saves with the current date and timestamp. Its too unwieldy to edit the name with the watch.So make sure you download the mobile Garmin Explore app and synch with your devices. The just saved location will show up immediately. click on it and edit the name to something more descriptive.

I upgraded from and 🍎 AWU2 to this, and it is absolutely amazing. I’ve had it for about 6 months and it has a long battery life, and sits nicely on my wrist. In my opinion the round bezel looks and feels a lot better. A little pricey but totally worth it if you need a fitness watch that does it all!

This is my first smartwatch, so take with a grain of salt. I have no reference point for comparison, but I love my watch. I splurged to get back into running. It seems to have sensors for every reading possible for modern runners to track progress. GPS is very useful (still learning some advanced features.). I am a data/numbers person, so this keeps me engaged and I can track my progress, training for my first 1/2 marathon and marathon. Also, tech support has been very helpful, they answer quickly and it is nice to talk to a human being..The only downside is that Bolo music crashes the watch (to cause reboot) at a specific screen if I use the touch interface. It was annoying until I found a workaround. I hope this gets fixed, it seems to be an Bolo issue.Otherwise, I love the watch as it is helping me get back into shape, lost 15lb so far without dieting. After almost 5 months I am up to 30 miles per week.

Ich bin sehr begeistert. Nach der in die Jahre gekommenen fenix5 hatte ich zeitweise mit einer Applewatcht meine Läufer aufgezeichnet. Nachdem diese aber einem Sturz zum Opfer viel, war die Überlegung, mit welcher Uhr ich demnächst meine Läufer tracken will. Da mich die Robustheit der fenix5 überzeugt hatte und mir auch das garmin connect sehr gut gefällt hab ich mich bei Garmin umgeschaut. Die Vivoactiv fand ich erst ganz interessant aber dann entdeckte ich die forerunnerSerie. Dieses Model bietet ohne Ende Daten und Analysen und misst alles äußerst genau. Einzig das Armband musste ich gegen ein Metallarmband wechseln, da es bei mir zu Juckreiz am Handgelenk kam, was natürlich auch eine allärgische Reaktion von mir sein kann und bei anderen Menschen nicht genau so auftreten muss. Bin insgesammt sehr zufrieden mit dieser Uhr.

Increíble producto de Garmin. Muchas funcionalidades para diversos deportes, en mi caso lo uso más para correr y bici. Pero el funcionamiento muy ágil. El reloj, muy ligero. Excelente pantalla. Batería dura un buen.

My favourite Garmin watch to date
I’ve had 3 garmin watches now. And this is easily my favourite. The AMOLED display is a huge improvement over the MIPS display. The additional features this offered above the 255 really puts this above. One feature not a lot of Garmin Forerunner’s have is being able to track Golf which the 965 can. The addition of training by readiness is also quite handy.
