I have tattoos that go up my arm and shoulder and even with tattoo sleeve covers you can still see my upper arm since there’s a gap between the top of the arm cover and the bottom of the scrub sleeve, so these were a perfect solution. I don’t like wearing a shirt underneath my scrub top because i get too hot and it adds bulk. So being able to wear these sleeves that cover the shoulders is the perfect alternative. No more arm sleeves that slide down! These are thin so as not to make you hot. I wore these during the summer and never was uncomfortable while working. I bought white and black (tattoos are still visible very slightly through the white ones but not so much my employer is bothered).

As others have said, this UV shawl has a strange fit. It's not flattering, but that really wasn't what I was looking for. I mean, you get what you pay for, so I wasn't expecting too much. It's not fitted on the wrists and the thumb holes are too high, so it's not comfortable to wear with your thumbs in the holes if your arms are long or you have more broad shoulders as it pulls on the inside of your thumbs, unfortunately. The fact it had thumb holes was why I purchased this item. Even so, I'm going to take this with me on a trip to use as a back up.I'm not sure if I would have noticed the fit so much if I hadn't first bought a more expensive cooling UV shawl. After wearing the more expensive shawl first ($25 for one shawl - not even that expensive), the difference is significant. The quality and fit of the $25 shawl is substantially better, plus it wasn't a one-size-fits-most situation, as you chose your size. Also, the cooling factor was noticeably better with the more expensive shawl.The $25 shawl didn't have thumb holes, but that's fine because I have UV gloves that fit well under the sleeves. I'm actually going to buy a second set of the more expensive item because it's way more comfortable and I could see myself wearing it all day. It's that comfortable. I'll use the $9.99 pair as a back-up when I'm in the car or I won't have to wear them too long.

Well I have to say I must have bought the wrong size or been delusional when I bought this.Not sure if this is meant for children or if it is meant to be a straightjacket for adults?But I will tell you if you try to wear this when you do any type of workout more than likely if you are even close to my size or bigger (which I am 5'3 & 123lbs) you will probably find this whole thing maddening. It was very uncomfortable and the whole time I couldn't wait to rip it off and throw it across the room. Also the fabric is cheap and scratchy.It is quite tight through the shoulders and rides up all into your upper chest area. The arms are long enough to stretch the length of the Mississippi River.All in all this is a cheaply made product, even for a child to wear for dance. Can't recommend it. If I could give it zero stars I would.

My work is 100% outdoors, I used to suffer a lot from burns on my arms, now with these sleeves my arms stay covered all the time, the best part is that as soon as you put them on you don't have to adjust them because they are always in the place you need, they don't roll down or up, the material is great and doesn't make you sweat.

Thank goodness these exist! In the summer I paddled boarded a lot and unfortunately got a bad lifevest tan. My arms were noticeably different from the rest of my body. But purchased these, they are thin enough that I want hot in them. Material worked well in the water & dried quickly when I was out. And still wore them when I took off my lifejacket and they looked cute with my bathing suits too

Great look! Hurts under the arms a bit.
It hurts under the arms, not super unbearable but a but uncomfortable. Really digs into the skin, would still wear though as it’s manageable, just have to adjust
