In the past I was a commercial exterminator had access to commercial chemicals, B&G sprayer etc. this is a must have if you want to step up your game in insect control. Some of the insecticides are not cheap and the ant bait I purchased from an exterminator company required this type of dispenser. What is nice is that you can control how much material you want to dispense because the trigger is so smooth that as you squeeze the action is constant and when done you can cap off your chemical remove it, the plunger comes out and this stores nicely back in its box. I had an ant problem Tiny Ants more commonly known as Sugar ants. Identifying your insect is the most important decision in choosing the right product and many of the products come in these dispensing tubes and this tool is a must. I laid down a very thin stream of bait and my problem disappeared. Spray just moves them to another location so to effectively kill a colony you must bait and this tool is quality built. The plastic is not cheap the internal working components that push the plunger are metal. This is a tool you buy one time doesn't take up room to store. I have a pocket in one of the over the door storage compartments I have some of my ant bait and duster and other things in that keep it neat and tidy. If they make a better tool I have not seen it. I used something similar when I was an exterminator and from the opinion who was a commercial exterminator working in food factories, grocery stores etc. I had access to the best equipment and this would be in my arsenal any day of the week. It has precision control and easy to squeeze and that saves you money and makes the insecticide effective when you can apply it properly in the places you can only reach with a tool like this.

This was a lifesaver. I was able to access hard-to-reach areas without breaking my back and to apply very precisely.Once it starts flowing through the needle (bought separately), it's hard to get it to stop, so I had to hold a paper towel up to it till I was ready to apply.But I definitely feel like a pro using this!

I've used Optigard Ant for a long time and find the syringes difficult to dispense cleanly with and very difficult when the product is getting low. These make it easier to apply accurately.

This was a waste of my money. If I had to do it again, I would not buy. It's best to use the plunger than comes with the insect bait. When I pushed the handle the plunger only moved a little. This made the process not only take longer but it was quite choppy. I wish I could get my money back for this item because it will just be collecting dust.
