It’s not extremely powerful like some of the other saws I have used, but still had no trouble accomplishing any of the tasks that I threw at it. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a budget friendly saw that works as advertised.

It works really well. I have put it though commercial use. It has held up continues work without any problems. I would recommend this chainsaw.

THe first experience with this saw was what I wished for many years. The product manual was well written and they are many Videos on you tube to help you alone if you need it. After following the recommented process with pushing the primer 6X, putting the saw in full choke, pulling it until the saw kicked over, the turning off then choke, then the saw started on the second pull. I did adjust the throttle "T", slightly after the saw warmed up, I then moved to a 30 foot, dead tree in our yard and the saw had no problem restarting after the first start and it cut through the dead tree like butter. I have been cutting my own winter firewood for many years and this first start with this saw was a pleasure. I cut the tree down, cut it up into the right size for my stove, split it and stack it in my wood bin all in 2 hours which included yard clean up. I would recommed this Husqvarna 445 saw based on my first day working with it.

I haven’t had the issues others have mentioned with starting a Husquavarna; it starts on the third or fourth pull every time for me. It cuts very well, although I’m using it against hedge Apple so the blades don’t last very long, but that’s normal with any saw. Those trees are like steel. I do take the time to drain the gas out of the tank back into the container if I’m not gonna use the saw for a while. And it does leak a drop of oil but frankly, I’ve never had a chainsaw that didn’t leak a drop of oil. It hangs on the wall and I just put my container for changing oil in my Harley underneath it. And again it’s only a couple drops. So far I’m very happy with the purchase.

I was unable to start this chain saw. I puchased the matching fuel and filled it up and it will not start. Pulled the spark plug, cleaned the plug reinstalled it and still the chainsaw still will not start. I bought this Husky because of its reputation, but I am disappointed.

Solid saw. Cuts Great. Would've gave it "5 stars" but the pull cord came out on the second use. Found out its a common issue on the 440 and 445. Luckily the youtube video shows how to repair.

Husky 445 for the win!
Great little saw. Took it out of the box, adjusted the bar and chain as such. Some bar oil and some mix was all it needed. Idles nice, cuts really nice. Me likey chainsaw!
