I use this pasta to thicken and add body to my baked chicken in sauce dishes. It works really well at making the dishes more filling. However, my usual preparation means stirring the pasta into the dish after cooking it to al chiodo doneness. Adding the pasta at this stage means that it continues to absorb a LOT of liquid during the finishing cooking of the dish. Thus, you need to make sure there's a LOT of liquid in whatever sauce you're cooking in and keeping an eye on it to keep it from drying out and burning. I will continue to buy this pasta because it tastes good and because it performs well in my application. Highly recommended.

I have to say, Frankie’s 457 Organic Pappardelle has single-handedly ruined all other pasta for me. You think you're living a good life, enjoying the typical dried pasta from your local store, and then BOOM—this stuff comes along. First, let me set the scene: it’s just me, a boiling pot, and 16 oz of noodles that look like they came straight out of a rustic Italian grandma's kitchen.Pros:Too Tasty: Like, alarmingly so. I was mid-bite when I started tearing up, realizing that all those years with boxed pasta were a lie.Absurdly Perfect Texture: It’s the chewy, slightly al dente noodle of my dreams. No mushy nonsense here—this pasta holds up like it's in an Olympic event.Organic, but in an Almost Suspicious Way: It’s so natural, I half expected it to start whispering in Italian to me. Am I being scammed? Who knows! And honestly, I don’t care.Cons:Addictively Dangerous: I went through the entire 16 oz. alone. That’s a week’s worth of carbs in a single sitting. My doctor would probably have some thoughts.Impossible to Go Back: I can no longer stomach regular pasta. This means my grocery bills are about to skyrocket. This was a wonderful surprise. I decided to make homemade alfredo sauce and these were incredible for this. It holds up with the heavy cream sauce and lots of veggies. I have bought this a few times now and will continue. It is well worth the price to have clean pasta.

This tastes great I cooked it with some red sauce. But it does get larger when it cooks and it’s more like fresh dough than other pastas on the market. It will make a heavy meal so definitely portion it well.
