The one I previously used wasn't available so I bought this one. The flavor is fantastic! One thing different about this compared to others is it has no coloring, so it was clear! That was a surprise to me. Made my cookies look more like a root beer float cookie, but I didn't mind, since we have talked about cutting out food dyes in our house. Worked really well for baking my cookies and the frosting on top. Highly recommend.

I use this Wilton clear vanilla primarily for decorating sugar cookies. Keeping icing bright and white is important. Traditional vanilla extract tends to tint royal icing a beige or off-white color, but this clear version keeps everything looking crisp and clean.Flavor-wise, it's definitely an imitation vanilla, so it doesn’t have the depth or warmth of pure vanilla extract. That said, it still adds a sweet, pleasant vanilla scent and taste—especially once mixed into icing or baked goods. It’s ideal when color matters more than complexity of flavor.Another plus is that the bottle has a narrow spout which helps control the pour and avoid waste. A little goes a long way. I've had no issues with separation or off smells, and the shelf life is awesome.Overall, this is a must-have in my bsking toolkit. I wouldn’t use it for high-end baking where vanilla is a star ingredient, but for cookies, frosting, and cakes that need to stay visually bright—this is my go to every time.Pros:- Keeps icings bright white- Sweet, clean vanilla flavor- Easy to pour and great shelf lifeCons:- Not as deep a flavor as real vanilla- Slight artificial aftertaste if too heavy handed

As a small business owner making so many wedding cakes, this stuff is SO good. It retains it's flavor very well when baking, is great in buttercream and smells divine. It comes in bottles with seals and I've never had issues with it leaking during shipping. It is so easy to use and I highly recommend it! I used to buy it by the gallon but would always leak and now the price has gone up. For this price, this is the best!

Great flavor - works well as a honey-vanilla mix that I use with my desserts. Not too sweet, but I make up for that by mixing the vanilla with honey, jams, jellies, and preserves to highlight the mixes.

I received my vanilla but it did not have a lid. It has the sealed cover but once I open it it will not have a lid. I do like this vanilla and this has never happened before but it is a problem.
