Seemed to be working, even remote seemed to function...but only once. Attempt at second use was complete failure. No buttons on device or remote worked as intended. Power button apparently turned it on, well, the light went on, but no other functions. Only way to turn off the light was to attach the charger (which indicated full charge), and then remove...then the unit turned off, or the light went out. Dissembling (so obviously complete void of any possible waranty) showed dirty water throughout, even after good cleaning by the instructions, so apparently the backflow prevention did not work, or not enough, so likely the lack of function was due to being essentially water immersed internally.There are some very positive reviews so maybe mine was just a lemon, and as usual, YMMV. I am disappointed enough to not want to spend money on a second chance, and, clearly, the unit is not a returnable item.Update: seller, surprisingly to me, found this first review, made contact to make it right, offered refund or replacement. Really nonplussed at the level of proactive service from the seller, I chose replacement and am glad I did. Replacement product works as described, much easier to use, especially for this creaky old man, than bulbs requiring both strength and agility to operate. Pleased with the product and its effectiveness, thrilled with support and proactive assistance from the seller. I really had little idea that any seller would have invested so much time and effort to making sure their product performed as described, and long after the sale was complete and they "had the money." Could not be more pleased with product support and customer service. Really, before this, I just thought that customer service or support contacts were efforts in futility...the best being that the company initiated and followed through on their product.

I had one of these that worked well for over a year. However, I decided to replace it after a year in the belief that it would be more hygienic to swap it out every now and then.Unfortunately, the replacement that I purchased on April 21 has already died two months later after just two uses. I am still able to charge it, and the flashing light indicates that it is taking the charge, but it is impossible to turn it on.I don't know what went wrong or how common issues in the manufacturing process are, but it seems like a lemon. I'd still be willing to purchase another unit if I could be guaranteed to get the same value from it that I got from the first one, but I wish that I could be reassured that defects are rare.

It definitely works, buuuut the tip is a little bigger than I’d like for ease of use and prep work.Helps if you have a touch of lubricant to utilize first.Bulb capacity is very nice.Additionally, the outside becomes somewhat slippery if it gets wet, so it’s hard to find a good angle to do what you need to do as there is no notable grip spots.
