The build quality is nice and they will fit up to Churchill size sticks. Great for a few day trip or vacation. Would be nice if the elastic band maybe had a mesh holder for a small boveda.

Without embellishment: before I opened the inner box after removing it from the corrugated packaging box I could smell the cedar wood.It has a nice weight and texture. I understand that “vegan” leather has better marketing qualities and also implies an ethical choice, but pleather is pleather. I have been searching for a long time for a travel humidor with more taste than the plastic boxes I currently have. I had used an old cigar box, but found too many things moved and rattled about. Italian and UK producers want quite a bit of money for their all genuine leather cases, and the ones on Etsy from Ukraine and China are either not real leather, lack the appropriate dimensions or do not carry enough cigars. CE/Klaro makes the Flint, but it has far too much conspicuous branding for my tastes. And it is a bit too small. This case is the ideal size. I was able to place a Joya Número Uno lancero in it and it was a perfect fit. I wanted a cedar interior. What’s the point of aging my cigars in a cedar humidor to only place them in a leather compartment? I don’t want my cigars tasting like a boot factory. I only wish it could hold a lighter and cutter, but it’s not a deal breaker. Again, I want this for occasions that demand a little more polish. I will use my plastic cases for bringing cigars back from overseas, or for more casual, or outdoor events. I am tempted to black out the garish Klaro branding on the elastic once I find something less volatile to the olfactory bulb than a Sharpie. I will update review after more use, but as of now, it is a great value for the price and is definitely an upgrade from tupper, old cigar box, or the tackle/ammo can looking plastic boxes.
