The Osmo Mobile 6 features improved stability for longer distances using the updated ActiveTrack 5.0, which can automatically track body shapes to track human subjects without the need for manual targeting. The DJI Mimo app connects via Bluetooth 5 to provide multiple shooting modes and functions, including Sports, Portrait, Underslung, Landscape, Time-Lapse, Motion-Lapse, Panorama, Slow Motion, SpinShot) and a Sports Shooting Mode fast action. In addition to using the joystick controls on the handle, you can also use hand gestures to control the gimbal to track your movement, take a selfie, or start/stop your smartphone camera, so you don't have to press the record button or touch any controls. You can mount any smartphone up to 3.3 inches wide on its phone holder, and its magnetic phone holder allows for simple and quick mounting and disassembling. The built-in smart sensor even tells you when your smartphone is mounted. The built-in battery run time is about 6.4 hours, and it takes about 1.5 hours to charge with the included USB Type-C cable. The bottom of the gimbal handle features a mounting thread for mounting the gimbal to the included grip tripod or other accessories. A storage bag is also included to store and transport the gimbal. I had a FEIYU gimbal a few years back and the device was cumbersome to use and keep charged. I'm very happy with this updated gimbal from DJI. The Osmo Mobile 6 is an updated ultra portable gimbal that meets the requirements very well. As long as your within the specifications weight wise, the gimbal works perfectly and the MIMO app is next level with the face tracking tech. This is not the gimbal for professionals that need to have many devices hanging off the phone like lights and mics etc. This gimbal is made to mate with a phone and it's case and that's about it. If you're overweight the gimbal will stop and tell you so. Very intelligent and useful product. I'm very happy with it!

I’m deducting 1 star because of the clutch design. It doesn’t feel right. Other than this, it works perfectly with the app. I hope new modes will be added to app. Great device for hands free recording especially kids mode works perfectly with one click editing. New version has built-in tripod but having a separate tripod maker more sense in terms of stability during windy situations. Its size is very good, if you are using a iphone16promax with a case, you’ll have a little discomfort in your wrist because of the total weight.

The tracking on this is great. I have a mediocre phone , Pixel 6, and I have been making YouTube videos by myself. This makes the camera follow me around. Before I had this I had to zoom out so I didn't walk out of frame. This clip is just a small example of automatic tracking.

It was great for about a month, then it told me I needed to download and it will not work. Then I reached out and they told me to uninstall and reinstall, and it will not install now complete waste of money. The concept was killer, but it will not work on my phone and I have a new phone, it's not like I have an outdated phone. The problem is is my warranty ran out after it stopped working, so I'm sitting here with a nice paperwhite, I wish it would work I'm not gonna buy the newer model in fear. I'll have wasted money on this, and fear that will not work again on the next update.
