First off, I am far from an "amateur" when it comes to using templates and printing labels off according to those templates. This listing suggests that it has so many bad reviews because people are "amateurs" at printing. (look, it's actually in the listing in small print.) Template printing has been a part of my business for 4 years now.These still did not work properly. Their Canva template that they link to does not line up to the actual label sheet. I found the instructions easy, but the template is just way off. I printed 4 plain paper test sheets and lined it up to their sheet... wrong every time. I eventually got it "good enough" for the personal party favors I'm making and gave up. On top of alllll of that..the labels came curled right out of the package. So, of course when I tried to print it grabbed multiple sheets at once because they aren't flat, thus ruining a few sheets. I had to print the rest of the pages one...at...a...time. Save your time and energy and go with a different brand.

I really thought I was going to dislike these labels given the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. I previously used another brand, but couldn't get them in time for an order I needed, so I got the only option that would come fast. I'm at about a 4th grade level at best with Canva, but I did it (I just use a basic label) and got it to fit perfectly on the print after only one failed attempt. Make sure you read the instructions about the printer setting. It did take a bit to figure out how to use Canva with this label as it is a lot easier with the other label companies I've used where you download them on to the label company site. The label quality is fantastic!!! I love the feel. They are so much more profession feeling and looking than the thin paper ones I previously had. They stick better than the other well known lip balm labels I had used previously. I'm sold on these and will definitely order again!

These were good and super sticky but definitely not good for beginners. It was hard to figure out how to get the design to fit the label correctly/print onto the labels correctly even following the instructions included. Still worked out fine but never was able to get it right. Wasted about 3 sheets of labeled trying to figure it out and so I just ended up leaving it how it was!

Experienced with Templates - Will not line up, the print is off and inconsistent going down the page. I've printed multiple test pages, used the templates they provided, and even tried creating my own. They just don't line up well. In addition, they are very sensitive to moisture in the air and curl up quickly when pulling from the package. I went directly to the website and found the same issues from others.

I bought the two brands that Bolo offers and this are by far the best. The other brand was paper finish, it looked so low quality as if you printed in copy paper, and as with all paper stickers it was impossible to reposition, it looked cheap and homemade. But this one is perfect! vinyl satin finish, easy to reposition and feel soft and profesional. I didn’t use any template I just measured the tops and sides and of course let the background be bigger than the label area so you can have the label area completely covered in color when you print it.
Don't use canva to print labels

I made a label design in canva, and then saved the design on my computer. I printed the label at home using my laser printer, the label template and software for my Silhouette Portrait. I found that using canva to print the whole sheet of labels didn't work well, both for print quality and for alignment. I haven't tried using the Microsoft Word version of the template.The sheets of labels feel thin, so I would recommend printing 1 sheet of labels at a time, otherwise the printer can jam. When printed, the label is feel really nice and adhere easily to a standard size 5.5g lip balm tube. The perforation on the tab of the stick is easy to open by twisting the cap. Overall I'm pleased with the quality of the lip balm labels.
NO TEMPLATE NUMBER TO MATCH LABEL!
Wasted hours to find the right template on Avery to fit the label and still couldnt find the template!! There is no instructions or template number mentioned anywhere but it said compatible to Avery template!! There is no tempate that matches the size in Avery!! Total useless!!!
