There are a few “jelly” colors in here as well which was nice to play with! I’ve created several sets using these colors and have been in love with it.

I’ve been doing my nails for almost six months with this polish and also Gaoy’s builder system. I love this brand so much. The retention is so amazing and sturdy I can easily go a month in between applications. It’s easy to use, not too thick, and doesn’t smell weird. 10/10 would recommend 💕

I love this gel set. It has so many colors and is the only polish that I haven’t struggled with applying as a beginner. I haven’t had any peeling issues as long as I use a dehydrator and primer. It comes with a top/base coat too. Highly recommend!

Product came leaked. I heard about Gaoy talked about online by many people, so I decided to give it a try as a beginner new to gel-x. They are small, but a great size and variety for a start! Be careful when dealing with leaked polishes, as uncured gel can lead to contact dermatitis. I had to cure the leaked gel in the packaging 3x! Super inconvenient, but the polishes are cute.

Everything is challenging at altitude ~ even doing your own nails. I've owned this set for 2.5 months now. I'm a righty so when I paint my right nails it can be a bit of a disaster. You have to give yourself a good hour, make sure you have the gel lamp and set all your tools, your basecoat, colors and top coat out in advance. I have old wash clothes I use and I lay them out on the countertop/table before I begin . . . just in case I have a spill. Give each layer time to cure, wear a mask if you are sensitive to smells, make sure you have good lighting and be mindful of fans around you. Some of my challenges have been pet hair blowing onto my nails as I'm painting. My dog has tried to come up to me when I'm in the middle of my manicure. He is very well trained so when I see his little head peaking around the corner, I tell him no, not now and he knows to walk away until I'm done. I know this is a review for the gel nail set but you really have to understand all the elements around you before you dive into this. I love it and the variety of colors are fun. You can mix and match and/or layer colors with some of the glitter options.
