We use the latitude 5430 at work and believe it or not I've been pleased with it. I decided to purchase one for home use except I increased the ram to 32 and put a 1 TB hard drive in it. I also went with the optional touch screen. Bought this for my wife 3 months ago and it's still working fine. I appreciate all the options available for this laptop online. And by the way, we have a price match guarantee and Corp discount with Dell through the company I work for and they could not match the price. It was ~ $450 difference but the gentleman said because the NIT was not exactly the same he could not reduce the price. It was 50 NIT difference (screen brightness). The screen brightness that I purchased is just fine and if I put the two laptops next to each other I probably would not be able to notice the difference. I rarely run my screens on full brightness anyway. The only other difference between the one I purchased and what Dell offered was a slightly different Wireless card. I do not have any issues whatsoever with the wireless card supplied. I would definitely buy again from this source.

It took a while to get all the updates done but then all the problems went away. It is very confusing to set up because Microsoft insists on have an email and phone number. I was doing this for someone else and had to call them more than once for details. Once done it works good. Nice bright screen and fast performance due to the solid state drive. Storage is limited and they seem to push you for Cloud storage. The person I was setting this up for does not need much storage so this unit us a good match.

I was replacing a 14" HP laptop because the keyboard began to have issues. I decided, after reviewing a lot of lower priced laptops, that Dell would be the one to buy. It became a Christmas present to me. Right out of the box, it was amazing. All of my favorites immediately came over, there was very little set up required. I have owned MANY laptops in my lifetime and this is, by far, the best. It's extremely fast! In case you can't tell, I LOVE this laptop!!!!

Dell Inspiron 15 3000: dual core processor uses 100% cpu and 4gb 1400Mz ddr4 160pin ram maxes out just using internet explorer. I upgraded the ram to 16gb 2400Mhz from my HP Omen with a spare WD 2tb hard drive. This thing comes factory with ADATA SSD SU800 hard drive which is very fast just too small for single drive. If you plan to play allot of small cheap free games or do allot of browsing researching etc on IE or youtube then get an Intel-I3-8130u with 16gb ram and SSD factory is the next best thing. This Laptop is a PAIN IN THE BUTT to disassemble for ram/ harddrive access!!! The display kinda sucks color/clarity.... bang for the buck you can't beat this.
