Big Box stores were useless and only had bathroom exhaust fans around me. I needed a good, high-volume/CFM fan but didn't have $$$ for one. The things I do I need ventilation so finding this was a God-send! I had some air filter material for a portable paint booth that I cut and put on the fan. After just 2-3 minutes of use, finishing a job I couldn't believe how nasty it was! Definitely reccomend! I used this in my grow tent (medically and legally grown in NYC) For those unaware you can get your medically marijuana card and legally grow up to 6 plants but only 3 can be mature (flowering/budding) visit NYC dot GOV.Now on to how and why I use the fan, I use it in a 2x4 tent and have two of my grow lights fixed in place and we use crates to bring the canopy towards the lights instead. This helps prevent the people whom help me not need to bend way down to grab the plants out the tent for reasons like LST and things.I now have three lights in it and wattage varies on my two lights shown in the photos based on of both bloom and veg are on but they both get to above 260+ watts in that mode and 100+ less just on veg. I recently added a FECiDA 1000W LED Grow Light Dimmable, UV-IR Included because my black grow light produces way too much red in veg mode instead of the preferred blue.I bought those lights back in 2019 and with the size of the plants and heat that builds up I didn't want small plants due to having the entire cooling and filter system inside as well.This fan allows me to have a flat roof inside and connect future hoses and carbon filters to it on the outside of the tent. I have two fans inside on the floor and will have two CO2 bags inside so at 1200-1500ppm of CO2 they can stand higher temps of 90 degrees Fahrenheit once they get going at about 3 weeks old.I have two temp and humidity sensors inside the tent for redundancy and averaging out temps and things along with another one without app/smart features along with two web cams inside the tent. In my review of pictures you see that when I turned on the top tent fan within three minutes the temps and humidity dropped down. My seeds were just planted though so I warmth and humidity.I will suggest you get a fan controller that you plug this into and can decrease the fan speed thus decreasing the noise output and you can run it on low for long durations vs how loud it is without doing so. It's definitely louder then my AC which is crazy but makes sense considering the speed this fan moves at. If using for similar needs as I got a grow tent then you don't need the full 500cfm of air flow at all as it does create negative pressure. Are you kidding me? The Seller offered a full refund on the product. This was amazing to me, my original fan broke after 16 months and so I bought another fan from the seller to replace the bad one and then I got a message from the seller offering a full refund and an apology for the fan only working for 16 months. Ok, this is truly someone that stands behind their product and to me that is 95% of the review.

All of the screws and nuts on fan were falling out after fan was turned on none were tight, does not pull air enough as the listing says, and the wall plug has a broken wire inside of the plug, I would return it but I needed one so I instead fixed it. Do not recommend buying cheap quality.

If you want a fan that really sucks this is it. And I mean that in the positive way.I want to enjoy a cigar or three while in my backyard shed office. Space is not 100sf so two minutes into a Don Pablo and you can’t breath. I bought an exhaust fan that said it was capable of 450cfm. Well needless to say that was not true. Try more like around 100cfm. Did not perform at all.A 100sf room should take 1.5 minutes to clear. It took this exhaust fan 1.75 minutes to completely clear the room. Awesome!! Just what I was looking for. The total sq. Ft. Of air it needed to move was 672sf. Room was so exhausted that my wife stayed in the room and talked to me while I was enjoying said cigar. Which has never happened. So great product. Hope it lasts a while. If I get a year or two I’ll be happy given it’s price point.Would I recommend this to others? Oh yes, in a big way.

man, these do move a lot of air. i didnt realize how much that would be. i bought these to cool my computer room and they do that very well but they are loud. i mean with that much airflow, they would have to be.
