Watched a "How to" video on Youtube and it works perfectly. After install I fired up the razor for a few seconds then turned it off, placed the shaver on charger for and evening and overnight(10hrs).I've been using the shaver every day for 6 days and it still indicates it is fully charged. When new the Braun Series 7 would easily last 2-3 weeks on a charged. This looks promising. The battery is identical to the original in every way. I obtained the link to this item from ifixit.com and they wouldn't recommend it if it wasn't good.

I bought this to replace the battery in my 7 series Braun shaver that wasn’t holding its charge as long as when new. I’m returning this battery as it doesn’t hold a charge much longer then the bad one it’s replacing.

seems to work and my shaver doesn't die after a couple of minutes. who knew? good for braun for making their shaver batter user-replaceable. a power screwdriver with the right attachment helps too.
