For one, this kit came with everything I needed to complete these manicures. It came with more than I needed to complete thr manicure, frankly.I won't lie, it's a skill that needs to be learned. It's not *easy* but it's also not at all hard. By the time I was on my third finger I basically had it down, and had a decent technique. It took me probably about 3-4 hours, but that's also due to taking a break in between hands. I think I could have easily gotten it all done in and hour and a half to two hours.It came with a little pamphlet that had instructions, and I followed those instructions relatively closely, but I also highly recommend watching YouTube tutorials to actually see someone doing it. If you're a visual learner, it's nearly mandatory to watch a video, otherwise you might miss out of some technique tips that the pamphlet doesn't cover.The kit I got came with a portable 6W UV LED lamp, and it works SURPRISINGLY well. IMO, no need to spend the extra money for the bigger lamp unless you want it for your setup. I had no issues drying any of the products with the 6W lamp.I did my nails yesterday, and I will come back to this review to update y'all on how long these nails last. I followed the prep instructions, and I feel relatively confident in these nails. Hoping for at least two weeks, as with the amount of gel that came in this kit, I likely wouldn't have to get an in-store manicure for MONTHS. Looking forward to the savings this will bring me haha. I will also update on the state that this leaves my natural nails in, as I bought this with the intention of growing out my nails. It came with cuticle oil, but I also bought more, so hopefully my nails will come out stronger. I'll also add that these poly-gel nails are very strong. I don't feel worried that they'll break. I'd be more worried about lifting and them getting ripped off, similarly to acrylics.Overall, highly recommend!

I have been getting professional acrylic for almost three years now. I love it because it’s strong enough to withstand sports, looks great, and lasts. That being said, I have been wanting an acrylic replacement due to the time and money spent in the salon and have truly tried EVERYTHING! Even at home acrylic seemed to last only a few days.ENTER POLYGEL: after one use with this product, I was SOLD. The gel is very durable and the process is fairly easy! I have done both long and short nails now and have gotten many compliments! The kit comes with everything you need and, although I had my doubts about the LED light, it is powerful and effective.Other commenters are correct in advising to also purchase an electric nail file. The nails turn out salon quality because I can really shape them using the additional drill; I don’t think they would look near as good without. Additionally, it does take some practice, especially on your non-dominant hand! Each time gets easier and the quality improves.I have done about 6 sets now (each lasting 1 week), and likely have enough supplies for another 5 or 6 months! Loving the product and, if you don’t mind spending your own time doing a full set each week, it is absolutely worth it!

Haven’t tried many colors but it’s a great learning experience.The light has to be plugged in order to use.Didn’t realize poly gel gets a little thick when applying making it look under the nails, so may need another small product to shave it down.Over all I like it, the gel tubs only have so much inside can will basically last you 2 full sets.

I’m new to home gel polish, and new to poly gel nails. I’ve been slowly building a “kit” & reading what I can on doing them, curing, etc.This set popped on my suggested items, and for the sale price, and range of colours, I grabbed it up.It was delivered today, and as I unpacked it, I was pleasantly shocked at how complete this set is!!It comes with not only a lamp, but also everything you might need to do your nails!!30 mL slip solution, , a HUGE set of nail forms, clippers, cuticle oull, There’s 3 really good quality files, lamp, 14 tubes of poly-gel, base coat, glossy top coat, matte top coat, 3 pots of glitter, needle tweezers for picking up & placing the glitterHere I had been ordering things separately — had I seen this set, I wouldn’t have bothered ordering items independently, because this set has every item a new polygel home user will EVER NEED!!I’m not usually over-the-top impressed by things, but this set absolutely blew my mind!If you’re on the fence about trying polygel, this is definitely the kit you should get FIRST.Some people said there isn’t much polygel, but I’m not a 2-inch nails person, so 14 tubes of 12 mLs each will be plenty! (I would think that “2-inch nails” people should be ordering individual big tubes anyway ona wholesale basis — this size tube would *each* easily do a full set, at least 2 or 3 times on my hands… and there is 14 tubes.)It comes with 3 little pots of glitter flakes, too. Removal wipes, clear clips to hold the mail form on while curing, a good metal gel scooper tool with the brush on the other end.Just an amazingly COMPLETE KIT. I wish I had seen this before I ordered items individually.ORDER IT! You won’t regret, especially if this is your first foray into polygel. Great Set! Will Buy Again!
Decided to try this set after reading some of the posted reviews and reviewing the rating. Let me say, I am in LOVE.Instructions kinda suck and are very vague but I got it figured. Took a couple hours, and 2 redos because I didnt hold enough pressure during curing, but everything went really well. I definitely recommend getting the full sized light as it cured everything lovely. The poly gel tubes are a good size, I do shorter nails for myself so will get good use out of them!I wish it came with a little glass for the slip solution, but the cap worked well too.
Great tool to learn nails
The media could not be loaded. As a complete beginner, I love the results of the Nails turned out. The package came with so many items like topcoat, basecoat , polish solution. The nail file is really good quality. But the nail lamp it just stopped working after first use. The poly gel quantity and colours are amazing I wish the size of the tubes would be bigger as well.
Not really convinced by this kit
I bought this polygel nail extension kit, but I was quite disappointed. First of all, the mini lamp that comes with it is really small and not powerful enough. You have to spend a lot of time curing the gel, and even after that, some nails aren’t fully dry. This makes the application long and frustrating.The polygel itself is hard to work with. It’s not as smooth as I hoped, and even with the slip solution, it remains a bit sticky, making it difficult to shape. The included tools aren’t of great quality either, and they don’t make the process any easier.In the end, the result wasn’t up to my expectations. The extensions didn’t last well, and I had to redo them after just a few days. I wouldn’t recommend this kit if you’re looking for something easy to use and long-lasting.
Just WOW!’
I didn’t really expect much. The reviews kept saying about not having enough product. Not sure how but I had no issues with running out of the colour. All 10 nails done with a bit to spare for quick fixes. I’ve had the nails on for about a week and a half. I’m so impressed. My nails are usually strong and long but I cut them very short 3 or 4 times a year. I did this two weeks ago and Hubby and I were going to a party and I wanted my nails done. This stuff is amazing!! I’m really hard on my nails. In and out of water and cleaning chemicals. I also use them as tools like splitting the tape on sealed boxes and scraping price stickers off product and etc. Take your time and learn with each nail. Not difficult for beginners. This was my first time using and if you go slow and pay attention it’s easy peezy. You Tube helped as well. These stay on perfectly and look real. Will not hesitate to purchase again.
