Otherwise I like the way it looks and the unexpected satisfying twist is that I like how it makes the trackpad feel. I think it would be easy for these corporate palm rest r&d hotshots to invent something to make this thing easier to install. And so it is, on a scale of one to ten, this is a major win.

I wanted to wait until I had this one for a few months before reviewing it. For the money- it is a must buy. The first one I got wasn't cut all the way and Bolo swapped it out right away. The color is great, the only difference is the mac is shiny and this is kind of textured. It fits well and have no issues with any raises edges or peeling. I wear a bunch of jewelry so I wanted to protect the rests from scratches and it has held up incredibly well- to the point there is no visible scratches on the vinyl itself. Adhesive is good, but will leave a little room for play when initially installing it. Also, this works if you have a case on your mac as well. I suggest taking the case off while installing though.

it wasn't a perfect exact fit but it fit pretty well almost exact cut, and I like how I was able to turn my starlight MacBook Air into midnight color with it! its not sticky to take off and the material is a good quality .

Even though I don't own a Mac, this product worked well for my Dell Precision 7750. I found the right shade of black for my keyboard deck and trimmed a piece to cover the peeling finish. It's held up well without loosening. I highly recommend this for preserving your laptop's aesthetics.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Perfect! Takes some patience and cares to apply it perfectly centered but once it’s on it’s perfect. The color is a solid match and is held up after several months. Easy to clean, adhesive is good, and would definitely recommend.
1.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy if you are hoping to protect from finger prints
I bought this product hoping it would stop the fingerprints from showing up on the palm rest and trackpad. The opposite is the case- unfortunately. Finger prints show up instantly and my Macbook looks worse that it did before.

Honestly, I’m more impressed than I expected I’d be. My last computer got scratched due to my watch so I decided to get these covers to prevent that for my new one. Since placing this cover a few months ago, it has stayed in place and not budged. My watch definitely would’ve left marks by now if it weren’t for this thing. It’s definitely thick enough to provide protection but not so thick it’ll drive you nuts when you’re using your computer. The color blends in beautifully and it’s easy to forget it’s even there. The only issue I ever have is sometimes dog hair will get stuck to it around the mousepad (but my dogs are quite the shedders so I imagine this won’t be a problem for most people). That said, it’s really easy to clean and doesn’t interfere at all with the functionality of my computer. I love it and highly recommend.

I put this on a little crooked and that’s how it will remain. Hard to line up correctly when applying. Once on, seems like a decent quality.

Cumple con su función aunque la sensación del material al utilizar el dedo es totalmente diferente y hasta cierto punto incomoda

Very easy to install. Very good quality. I installed in bad light, and did not notice the bubbles under the sticker. Lesson learnt: While installing such protection films do it under good lighting to detect bubbles.
