So I would say this craft is not good for beginners especially since instructions are incomplete. See photos… The printed instructions only gives you instructions for crocheting what turns out to be the size of a large saucer or a huge coaster. Instructing to make a 6” diam from center ring? A can is only 2.75” in diameter. The helpful videos are not for the craft projects them self but just how to do a certain stitch.I am having to you tube how to finish this project.

I’m disappointed because I bought the kit to learn and the instructions are all in crochet code, and doesn’t even tell you how to make a beginning chain stitch or slip knot. I think it’s going to be easier to learn with much thicker yarn than the kit provides and a bigger needle. As a beginner I can’t really see what I’m doing as the yarn is very thin, good quality but thin. There are resources and forums on Sirdar website that they link to so it’s not a lost cause.
