I started one serving of dessicated bovine thyroid, which I put in a gelatin capsule, the next day and haven't looked back. I now take general bovine organs, and female specific bovine organ throughout the day, starting with this thyroid first thing in the morning. A high protein diet with these supplements has changed my energy level throughout the day, alertness upon waking, overall brain fog, hair loss and so many other symptoms I struggled with for years.Beef supplements can be expensive so this amount and quality for the price is a good value. I find all beef organs powders smell the same, and this one is included—not a pungent smell but also not delightful. I take it in a capsule that I fill myself so I don't taste it but you can mix the powder with a variety of drinks like a protein shake, vegetable juice, or coffee and it's not bad.I did not have any side effects or experience anything weird but you shouldn't take this supplement with any thyroid prescript.

I took it as directed and it nearly killed me. This is poisonous and should not be on here. I had a migraine over 18 hours, vomited, and my BP was 200/110 and medicine hardly worked. WHY IS THIS ON HERE? IT IS DANGEROUS. I feel like I was poisoned.

I did a lot of research and found out that most desiccated thyroid gland powders (extracts) don't contain any of the naturally occurring thyroid hormones because they've been removed deliberately. I also learned that it's the safest to purchase products made from Argentinian cows since they have never had a reported case of mad cow disease and other diseases etc.I was happy to find that this Argentine beef thyroid powder ticks all the boxes, so that I feel safe consuming it. In my case, it did what it's supposed to do (taken along with a kelp supplement) ! :)

Grass fed, no hormones source is great. Unfortunately the taste is reminiscent of the way pet food smells.This product should be offered in capsules. It does work so despite difficulty in consuming it, I gave it I gave it 4 stars overall for value and quality.

For me, a double dose (about 1000 mg) is not effective as a 200 mg capsule of porcine glandulars. I have not found any information on the equivalency of pig and cow dessicated thyroid, so I have concluded that they are not gram-for-gram interchangeable.The fine powder is extremely messy. It sticks to everything. I tried filling 00 gelatin capsules by scooping directly into the large end of the capsule and by filling with tiny apothecary spoons. I think I inhaled more of the green-brown dust cloud than got into the capsules. Attempting to tamp it to fill the capsules produced even more spillage and airborne dust. Gave up on that idea, and just filled a prescription vial with about a week's worth of loose powder. Carefully scooping a heaping 1/4 teaspoonful from the vial and sprinkling it into a glass of water is less messy.It tastes like liver and meat blood. Adding a half scoop of beet powder and a bit of salt and pepper makes it more palatable.

Heart rate slowed and gained 7 pounds in a month with this product, not sure what this product is but also have other products that i am very unhappy with from the same. they all look and smell and taste the exact same and the weight gain and lower heart rate was very indicative of an inferior product!
