I've had a lot of digestive issues recently, and have needed to stick to a bland, soup-based diet. I bought this dried veggie mix to add to home made miso soup. When using this mix for seasoning, I recommend bringing water to a boil, and boiling however much of this dried vegetable mix you wish to use for at least ten minutes prior to adding the noodles and other ingredients, as it takes a long time for the dried vegetable bits to soften. Biting into the still-hard dehydrated pieces isn't very pleasant. The mixture does add some nice flavor to whatever soup or broth or stew you are making. Just give them plenty of time to reconstitute. There is a large ratio of parsley and carrots in the mixture. It's an ok mix. The vegetables, when properly rehydrated, do have a lot of flavor.

Excellent for adding to ramen noodles. Suggest adding to bowl furst with water sit awhile or nuke. Veggies take longer than noodles, but they really add flavor and more filling. Haven't tried in home made soups yet. I like adding fresh, but in a pinch would probably do very well. Will buy again!

I always read the reviews to see if either the high or low ratings apply to what I want the product for.For this product I wanted a nice light flavoring for my homemade rice pilaf to which I also add bullion. I also use it in stir fry, ramen. It turns out to be the right mix for my uses.The flavoring is perfect for a light broth; not too overpowering. I cook it with rice or noodles and it releases the flavor. For any use I would allow plenty of time for it to rehydrate and release itโs flavors. It has a lot of different vegetables which taste really good. The vegetables are not big chunks but little chunks.For a vegetable soup this would not be the right vegetables to start with, I would think. One would want to begin with chunks of fresh vegetables then add this mix if flavor is lacking. But I would think it would be too bland on itโs own as a soup stock.I am happy to give this product a five star rating!

I've used dehydrated veggies for years to make a quick soup or add to improve ramen. These are quality veggies and hydrate quickly. They taste fresher than some others. I like the small packages best because they stay fresher. I've purchased bulk packs to save money, but they deteriorate after opening and can go to waste. This package size is perfect and prevents waste.

I made soup from these. The only thing I can say I didn't really care for was that between the sweet peppers and the carrots, it made the broth taste really sweet, but if that's what you like, you'll really enjoy these
