The ease of planting was much appreciated and very quickly I saw little sprouts in the pods. I was so excited. My plants have quickly reached the stage where my grandmother was able to try a leaf of lettuce (she found it as good as she remembered) and the other plants are looking as if they will bear soon. I have the planter on the kitchen island and everyone enjoys watching the plants sprout and grow. I have found this to be an easy system to use and this enables me to garden in my apartment. I look forward to growing herbs and will try other vegetables. By next year I hope to have at least one bigger planter and a second smaller one (hinting for the holidays) to grow even more. I am so glad I discovered these planters and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to try kitchen gardening, or living room gardening or dining room gardening-they are great in any room and add to the decor rather than making the room look like the outdoors.

I really like this system, it's sturdy and easy to assemble. The pump is so quiet I often question if it is even on, but it is. I've used two other brands and the pumps are extremely loud. The box included everything you needed to get started on your hydro growing journey. I can't remember everything in the box but there was plant food, pods, pod holders, and labels in the box. My first round of plants have really grown fast in this system, and I didn't even use the included plant food! The only confusion I experienced was trying to set the timer for the grow light to turn on daily. I'm not sure how I did it, but the light is on for about 12 hours a day, usually beginning at night and turning off during the morning. It also includes different light options depending on what you are growing at the time, for example if you're growing vegetables there is one option, another for fruits. I was not paying attention when I added seeds to the pods so I had a mix of fruits and veggies, and did not notice any issues with the plants growing under the "vegetables" light. For the price, and everything you receive, definitely consider this system.

The AHOPEGARDEN is not only a quality, well-made product, the company stands behind what they sell. We enjoyed planting the seeds and watching them sprout, we ordered a second garden. Alas, it had a problem and would turn itself off - not on any particular schedule. Sent an email to them, they asked pertinent questions, suggested trying a couple things that didn’t work. Lo and behold, 5 days later I had a new garden. Is that great customer service or what?!!When setting up, the most important step seems to be soaking the seeds. This is especially true with cilantro. Basil is by far the easiest to grow and the fastest to be able to harvest as well. Our second garden is devoted to lettuce and leafy greens. The kale aren't doing great but the rest of the greens are doing well. Do not plant chives or scallions. We tried and failed miserably. Any root vegetable probably won't work either.It's exciting each morning to check our two gardens to see how they are faring.With great customer service, ease of assembling the AHOPEGARDEN, and the quality supplies, not to mention the informative instruction manual—what are you waiting for???

This hydroponic system was on sale for a great price that I couldn’t pass up, and since I have one hydroponic system, I decided to add to it. This was incredibly easy to set up, and it comes with a kit that includes everything you need to get started with your indoor garden. The size is compact, so it doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. I am only one week in, but I just planted a few different vegetable and herb seeds, so I’m hoping for the best!You can adjust the light stand as the plants grow, and once you set it on the appropriate mode, the light goes on and shuts off automatically. So far, I don’t have any complaints. I gave it 4/5 stars because, to my knowledge, there isn’t an app for this system, and I have one for my other hydroponic system. Adding an app would make this a 5/5 for me as far as functionality

So far, so very good! I've been using my garden for 3 weeks now, planted 5 herbs (cilantro, basil, oregano, rosemary and parsley) and they are coming along very well. The cilantro grows FAST! I was intimidated to start using this at first, but this thing is SO easy to use. You literally just "plant", turn it on, and let it do it's thing. I love waking up each morning and seeing how much growth has come along. Some herbs are much slower than others, so patience is key.
