I had gastric bypass surgery and 3 months later my hair started falling out. I have naturally thick hair to begin with, but the surgery took a toll on it. I started taking this product in the Vegan formula 7 months postop and saw results within 2 months. I take the Vegan formula due to a mammalian allergy and have done great with it. Since starting this I have LOTS of new-growth on my scalp and I'm having to shave my legs every other day.

I ordered these on March 13, after seeing an influencer on Tiktok swear by them. My hair had been feeling crispy, unmanageable and worse, falling out in small handfuls after washing or brushing it. So, I ordered it. I had nothing to lose, except more hair!I take them diligently, although I ordered the hair serum as well, I can honestly say I don't use that as much (maybe 5 times total).I'm writing my review today, not because I noticed miraculous hair growth because I haven't. However, I've noticed the following:Hair stopped falling out.Hair is shiny and soft.Fingernails and toenails are growing insanely, which is mildly annoying but a good sign!Nails are also hard as rocks, don't bend anymore or peel like onion skins like before.Mood is even, dark thoughts are goneSleep is deep and mind is able to shut off easyFocus at work is better

I was hesitant to purchase Nutrafol because of the cost, but after taking for 2 months, I can see the difference! My hair has grown at least an inch and is so much healthier and stronger. I do have extensions in, but I pulled them up so you can see my natural hair.

I was shorted and had two different type pills in one bottle. My first purchase was fine and I did notice a difference with some new hair growth. The second bottle I got had two different type pills which I ignored at first because manufacturers are always changing looks and etc. but I noticed half way through the month I was done with the bottle. They filled it with half capsule and half solid pills so maybe they had a wrong pill type to weight distribution. For the cost and attempt at doing this right daily is very frustrating.

I was very skeptical if this would work. I had a lot of hair loss after I had my baby and it didn’t seem to want to grow back on its own. Finally I gave in and tried it. It’s expensive but after 4 months I have so much re-growth happening.

Great product when it arrives intact. I bought 1 originally and it was fine. It comes in a nice glass bottle. Unfortunately the next 2 I have purchased have arrived in a million pieces. I won’t be buying this on Bolo again due to packaging issues.

Last year, I was diagnosed with a condition called Pseudotumor Cerebrei (or Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension) after taking a prescription acne medication. This condition causes a buildup of spinal fluid in the skull and can lead to 24/7 migraines, tinnitus, dizzy spells, stroke-like episodes, and temporary or permanent loss of vision. After a ten month stint on diamox (medication used to relieve PTC symptoms, the first of only two non-invasive options for treatment) and vigorous diet and exercise (the second of only two non-invasive options for treatment), I was finally symptom free.Then, I took Nutrafol.Basically, about a month after I stopped my course of PTC medication, my hair started shedding like it never had before. My doctor didn't think it was concerning enough to do anything about but recommend I sleep more, Rogaine wasn't working, Ketaconazole wasn't working. So I decided to turn to this multivitamin- a decision which I am sorely regretting now.Apparently, high levels of vitamin A can also cause this illness. All it took was two days of taking Nutrafol (I stopped after that) for me to be nearly right back where I was symptom-wise a year ago. And in case you're wondering- yes, my doctor did confirm that prolonged high levels of vitamin A could cause PTC/IIH in someone who had never been exposed to it before. I just happened to already have had it so I was likely more sensitive to Nutrafol's negative effects.This isn't to say it's Nutrafol's fault necessarily, but people (and especially women) between the ages of 16 and 45 should be more aware of this truly awful illness that can develop as a result of these skin/hair care products that are being promoted to us for ridiculous profit.Also this product just really didn't work for me- I basically paid EIGHTY EIGHT WHOLE DOLLARS to keep losing my hair and send my body into relapse, so I feel I retain the right to a one star review since I probably won't be able to get my money back.
Already opened bottle with broken seal and missing capsules

The bottle mentioned 120 capsules but for sure half of them were already missing. Such a costly product and the wait was not definitely worth the experience .
