Very realistic, almost like a documentary. And more details on the sniper art than you normally see in war movies. Also very depressing when you realize that this is all really happening in Ukraine right now. These are truly brave people.

2021 movie. Made by Ukrainian State Film Agency. Find " set up " and click English stereo. Movie is 1 hr 52 min. long. Very well done, and based on true story. Begins in 2014 when Russia seperatists invade EasternUkraine. Bad things happen and our main character joins army. Volunteers to become a sniper, and the training is very interestimg. Then off to combat for the rest of the movie. All very well done, and realistic. However, movie ends before Russian Army really invades in Feb. 2022 Perhaps there will be a part two! This is an A class movie, top notch in my book. Very enjoyable and worth the cost.

Anspruchsvoller Film. Leider zeigt er wie schlimm Krieg sein kann.

Das Schicksal eines Menschen in der Ukraine. Wie er zum Killer wurde um seine Frau zu rächen.
Mittelmäßig.
Vorsicht kleiner Spoiler:Es wird versucht einem ukrainischen Öko-Lehrer den Heldenstempel aufzudrücken, nachdem er und seine Frau das Opfer russischer Soldaten wurde.Das ganze ist nur wirklich mäßig umgesetzt und verliert zunehmend an Glaubwürdigkeit je weiter die Handlung voranschreitet.Trotzdem gebe ich gerne so noch 3 Sterne.

Aber mir hat er gefallen.Er ist auch nicht zu überschüttet mit übertriebener Action sondern realistisch.Ich empfinde den Film mit der Geschichte nicht als eine Art `Propaganda`. Bei American Sniper hat sich auch keiner darüber beschwert das es Propaganda ist.
