The pressure sensor is also a good tool to assist you with proper hygiene and keeps your gums safe. The noise associated with an electric toothbrush is not as annoying as one might think- it has become strangely soothing to me and the built in timer is very helpful and the led light ring around the top of the brush handle is customizable so that you know when you reach an oral hygiene goal . Great product, totally changed my attitude about my oral hygiene- as a smokeless tobacco user, oral hygiene is very important to keep your mouth in check because oral hygiene is vital to your overall health

My dentist recommended I get this so I did. It’s like a power washer for your teeth. Has a few different settings to go with the different brush heads that come with this. Super clean, whitening, etc. you can download the app and it shows you what areas you need to spend more time on. It changes colors when you’ve brushed the full 2 minutes. The only con is just a personal preference, I wish it had a pause button to be able to spit or take it out of your mouth without it splattering everywhere. Yes you can turn it off to do so but then it restarts the 2 minute count all over again. Other than that. The brush is amazing and I’m glad I purchased it. My teeth haven’t felt this clean unless it’s right after a cleaning.

This is an excellent toothbrush! I appreciate how it prevents me from applying too much pressure while brushing my teeth. My teeth look whiter, and they feel cleaner along with my gums! I also love the travel case, and the battery lasts for several days.

Best brush on the market.Since I started using the Oral B brush my dentist has been impressed with how my teeth look. They feel smoother. The orbital motion helps clean along the gun line better. This brush adds the pressure sensor which helps with him health.

Incredible clean, with every penny
My roommate was raving about this toothbrush that he bought for himself a month ago. He knows I try to take good care of my teeth, and encouraged me to consider getting one, I’ve been using a manual toothbrush for my entire adult life. I had a ver basic electric toothbrush when I was a teenager, but it was not great, so I was skeptical, as I thought I did a pretty great job caring for my teeth with a manual one, but OH MY GOD was I wrong!I took a leap of faith and bought the io 5 with three different heads. I got it on sale.Well, very first time I used it, I felt like I had gone to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned and polished. My teeth feel sooooo good. I am currently also using the app, which is sorta fun, it maps out and tracks where you have brushed and how long, and the pressure guide is very helpful! It also tracks flossing, tongue cleaning and mouth wash rinsing, and you get trophies for completing a full mouth cleaning routine. It’s really helped me to commit to consistent oral care.If you don’t have benefits to get dental cleanings, I genuinely and honestly strongly suggest that you get this toothbrush. I honestly don’t think I’ll ever need to go get a dental cleaning done now that I have this tooth brush. Also, if you don’t have dental benefits, it is very much in your best interest to get this toothbrush, as dental repair is very expensive and having this brush is likely going to greatly reduce your risk of serious tooth problems.Also, I learned that it has a dual oscillating plus micro vibrations, which is why it cleans so well.I will undoubtedly buy another one of these when the time comes, maybe even level up and get the top of the line.Have only had it for a few days, so I can’t speak for its longevity or durability yet, but if it craps out, I’ll update my review.Seriously, do yourself a favour and get this toothbrush.
Great toothbrush, great clean
I’ve always loved these toothbrushes as they seem to provide a much deeper clean for teeth when compared to a regular manual toothbrush. You can see and feel the difference. Noise level is the same as any other of these types of toothbrush, very minimal noise. Toothbrush vibrates at every 30 second interval, and then will vibrate multiple times at the 2 minute mark, so you always get a 2 minute cleaning if you follow those intervals. I cannot really speak on the battery life as it has never been used without a full charge or transported. My single only complaint about this, is that I absolutely hate the toothbrush head holder. It collects water, and is super flimsy. I will probably be looking to switch that out. Other than that, I highly recommend.
The two minute run time did not work.
The two minute timer did not work. I tried holding the on/off button for 10+ seconds as well as, downloading the app to set the timer. I contacted Oral-B and advised of this and they (I think AI Chat), advised to return the product, which I did.Edit. After returning the product and receiving a new brush, the two minute timer did not stop the tooth brush. However, after googling further, I found out that Oral-B tooth brushes do not stop automatically after 2 minutes, even when you set the timer for 2 minutes, it does not stop until 5 minutes. Other than the weird timer issue, this is a great toothbrush.
Pressure sensor
Have used for a few months works well. I like the color function that lets you know if you are brushing to hard or light, always thought I was brushing to hard but now have a better sense of correct pressure to be applied while brushing.
