I’ve never ordered this brand before and can honestly say that I regret ordering this burnt and stale pastry bread with a trace of cherry cheese. It’s like they kept making them once they ran out of filling. It could have been made well - but it wasn’t due to a lack of knowledge on how to make this dessert. My advice is if you want a very poor version of what this is supposed to be then go ahead and order.

Bapka bread has always been a traditional in my husband’s family. Over the years bakeries have closed, tried making it (good buy time consuming), & the places that had it provided varying levels of quality. Bolo offered this cherry cheese babka those Northside Bakery. We gave it a shot and were very happy we did. The box came with two babkas that weren’t very big, but more than enough for our Easter celebration. The flavor and texture were excellent. We’ve always loved the cherry cheese and although this was different in flavoring, with almost a raspberry flavor, it was delicious. Will definitely order again next year.

It arrived nicely but was very dry almost stale. I served them to different family members and no one liked them. Will not order again. SORRY!

I ordered five sets of these little wonders.I have not been able to find cherry cheese in years.I also order cheese set.All were so fresh full and wowed over by all at christmas. I just sent a set to my daughter as a birthday gift...she remember we always had them for the holiday when younger,and the reminder of how good they were warmed her heart. My entire group for all,made it disappear in short time...better than the meal. I expect to be ordering more for Easter as well.I am so happy I found this jewel of a bakery that did not disappoint.Perfect size for a small twosome too,like us.Freeze very well.They are the real deal.Highly suggest to buy if you love babka like I do,you will be so happy
