I'm 6', 230lbs and it fits me well, but if your taller I wouldn't recommend. No damage on delivery, was packaged well. Assembly was simple but does require some tools.3/8 Ratchet15mm front axle14mm seat adjustment13mm seat post clamp on bike10mm for front fender bolts10mm open end front fender nutH6 hex for handlebars14 mm open end wrench for pedalsPhillips screwdriver for reflectorsAdjustable wrench for headsetThere was some interference between the tire and front fender but that was easily fixed by bending the attachment arms of the fender. The gear shifts of the nexus hub are very precise and quick. It is recommended to coast between gear shifts to reduce strain on the hub, however it works while pedaling too.The chain needs to be degreased of cosmoline from shipping and then greased with chain lube/wax. Tires get inflated to 43 psi. My front tube was leaking so I contacted Schwinn and they sent a new one (lifetime defect warranty). For registration the serial number is on the bottom of the frame where the pedal cranks attach. There is a production date sticker on the downtube, a picture of that is required for a warranty claim as well. The bike rides great for a cruiser. The 3 speed is a must in my opinion if you ride consistently. Most of the time riding in the neighborhood is in 1 and 2 but if you really want to be an HOA rocketeer click it down to 3 and blast off. The tires do really well on pavement and grass. They are 26x2.125 should you want to replace them or need a new tube. The kickstand is stiff at first but loosens up after a few uses. The seat is firm but liveable, better than other cruisers I've tried. The coaster brake works well. The handle bar grips are comfortable and a good size. Nothing feels flimsy like it will break over time. I believe I read another review where the pedal crank bearings failed, you should never put your full weight or stand on the pedals as this will destroy the bearings.

1.0 out of 5 stars Giant Piece of S....
The media could not be loaded. It's not a bad looking bike when you get it together but it would be nice if everything actually worked. The derailleur was way out of adjustment for something that was supposed to be adjusted from the factory but that's not the big issue. The big issue was me trying to find out why while rotating the pedals this would bind up randomly and why the sprocket cassette was so wobbly. So after wasting a whole day of trying to fix this thing and it's cheap garbage Chinese bearings I had to start a return but guess what You got to have a box to do return. Here's the problem The wheel hub assembly and cones are not installed properly and are over torqued causing a binding about every 3/4 of a rotation. And unless you got the right tool to disassemble the cassette pull the bearings apart which are loose bearings packed in shipping grease not even packed in bearing grease, your SOL.Bolo I'll give you 30% off that'll barely cover a replacement hub of decent quality let alone the labor to do it.So you're only choice is to get a replacement waste a whole day trying to fix the one that you got and then when the replacement gets here hope that that one doesn't have the same problem.About another Schwinn bike for my daughter and it is absolute trash too avoid this brand it is not what it used to be.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great Bike - Inconsistent Assembly Instructions
I recently purchased this bike for myself. I am a big guy and my bike options are limited, but this bike is great for me.My experience with this bike is currently still limited, but this is what I noticed so far:- The seat is plenty wide/soft- The handlebars are wide enough to be comfortable- The frame is really solid- The wheels each support 220lbs and are filled to 43PSI.This all contributes to a safe and comfortable ride for a tall/large person. The only negative thing I could say about this bike is with its assembly. A few points:- The video (on the Schwinn website) was way more helpful to me than the included instructions in the owner's manual, but both are okay.- I found that some assembly steps were completely skipped in the video (ex. the front fender), but covered in the manual, while the reverse was true for others.- Once you understand how everything is supposed to fit together its something that can be assembled in about 10 minutes, but it took me two hours to get to that point.- When I got my bike in the mail, the box was nearly open, very poorly sealed but packed well. No scratches, etc. on delivery despite a terrible box.- Very squeaky kickstand included, I would add some lubricant to that immediately if it bugs you. Some tips for assembly:- I had issues with the front brakes rubbing the base of the tire and not the rims, there is a grey larger screw that you can loosen to adjust those further down if needed on each side of your brakes.- Make sure that your forks are facing the correct direction before installing your handlebar / front wheel- While unpacking your bike, be sure that you don't throw out the plastic covers on your axles until you have accounted for all axle screws, one of mine wasn't screwed on when it was delivered and I almost threw it away while searching for it. It was stuck inside the plastic protector.- There are adjustable phillips screws on either side of your breaks to control the tension. I had to adjust these on the front brakes a little to loosen it up- The bike I received has cable-actuated brakes. For comfort reasons I disconnected one brake line and rerouted it around the other side of my handlebars, and it was a painless process. So if you are hesitating, I would find a video and go for it.- Be sure to fill up your tires before any test rides!

3.0 out of 5 stars Make sure your fender is correct
Not sure if anyone experienced this but the back fender would not fit all, my back tire was rubbing the tire making the riding slow and uncomfortable. Not sure if they sent the wrong size or what but it just wouldn't fit.
Nice bike. But be ready to tune.
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Great bike. Delivery took about a week with prime. Was easy to put together. Had to adjust brakes and derailleur. Youtube helped with that. Now it shifts smoothly as it had issue getting into all 7 gears. Added a rack and basket. Wish it came with a rack designed for a cruiser bike is my only complaint. I added one from a different brand that does what I need. Could find a Schwinn one.
Beautiful retro cruiser
Bike came disassembled in box and is not bad to put together with time and patience. Packaging was adequate and the bike arrived mainly unscathed but the rear rim was badly warped. After a very painless phone call to Schwinn customer service, a new rim is on its way. Definitely needs tuning once assembled but a beautiful matt black finish and gorgeous lines! Love this bicycle!!
OK for the price
not five star : shipping box was damaged in several places. many scatches on frame and fenders(one on top frame bar was through paint to bare steel) will see how well it rides when the snow leaves.
Too heavy, no output
I ordered this bike for everyday use, but this model may work only for short ride near a coast line. Slow, non agile at all, while pedaling bike does not give back, even if you are cycling for the hill. Also this bike would fit someone big. I m 5 5 inches and it was too heavy for me. But my partner, who is bigger than me, tried to ride it and also did not feel comfortable. So if you want to use this bike as a commuter, never take this model. It is not comfortable for this purpose, that can cause dangerous situation on the road.
Great single speed
Very good Huron men's single-speed bicycle there is nothing cheap about it and mine came with a basic kickstand the kind I like. It also came with a front clear reflector plus both wheel reflectors and two rear reflectors. I also bought the rear Schwinn rear rack that fits well. This is a very fine bicycle and I will look after it.
