The control has a backlit digital display to show what the heat setting is, time setting and on/off. The backlit display goes off a few seconds after using the control. Perfect for nighttime use. Also love that this heating pad has several different heat settings and automatic shut off. I purchased about 3 months ago and it seems to be wearing very well. I will not hesitate to order a replacement if a time comes when this one gives out.

Customer service is fabulous! I have an old XL King Size heating pad from them and have used it for years. It has a 5 year warranty on it. I'm guessing I've used it at least 10 years. I called to find out if the meaning of an error I was getting. I didn't expect them to do anything. The error indicated a failure of the power system and I should stop using it.They then said that they are going to send me a replacement. I was very pleasantly surprised. I neither asked for it nor expected it. They definitely stand behind their product.

I bought this a year and a half ago, and it’s been the best heating pad I’ve ever owned. I use it on my shoulder to sleep every night. It’s been used for 7-8 hours every night for that entire time without so much as a glitch. I couldn’t recommend it more. Great product!

I purchased this heating pad for 2 reasons: 1) I am ALWAYS cold, and 2) I have some back issues requiring Physical Therapy where the therapist starts each session with10 mins on a heat pad - and recommended I do the same when following up on my exercises at home.First & foremost, this comes with “set your own” temperature control - not just low, med, high but an entire range from 100 - 150 degrees Fahrenheit. TOASTY!!Additionally, you can also set the on/off timer in increments of 30 mins: from 30 mins to 3 hours.The pad is wonderfully oversized - not the typical “hot water bottle” size for small targeted heating - but almost 3 feet by 2 feet of plush, soft coziness.The pad is also “heat tacked” just about every inch - no bunching up of the padding making for uncomfortable lumps.And finally: the surface material can be easily spot cleaned with a damp cloth. The manufacturing label states one can disconnect the electrical cord from the pad to be able to machine wash in cold water/ gentle cycle; however, I have not been able to confirm the cord can actually be removed.PLEASE NOTE: my understanding from other heating pad warning labels is this is not a product for children, pets, elderly, or those individuals who have medical disorders causing them not to feel temperature (diabetics or neuropathy patients, for example). There is no such warning label on this pad.

Previous large heating pad died. Got this for my husband and me. It gets WARM! great on back, wrapping around knee, shoulders etc. Auto shut off and helps with aches and pains. Leave it plugged in all the time and they actually put the controller where it won't get in the way and poke in your back when using.

I love it!!! Awesome as a lap pad or lay on it for a back heating pad. It's also perfect for wrapping around my neck to get great contact in those heard to reach places. The size is perfect. The timer and temperature control are just what I needed. Best purchase!!!!

The perfect size to put on the back of the recliner and relax with. Automatic timer works like a charm and the heat settings are very accurate.
