Hadn't used stretch wrap for moving before, read good reviews and thought I'd give them a try. Definitely worth the money to get these! They are so universal in wrapping just about anything you want. They secure things snug, prevent sliding and don't leave any residue behind (that you might have with tape). My advice is to purchase extra of these 5" that you can use one-handed and don't waste your time/money on the 15" ones. They are very cumbersome to use, require both hands and depending on the handle can be very difficult to get near the floor (e.g., if they have handles that stick out). The one-handed takes getting used to... you have to use your thumb to hold the roll (prevent from spinning) while pulling tension around corners to provide a snug fit. I highly recommend these... not just for moving either. A very handy thing to have a roll of any time you just need to wrap something and don't want to take the chance of tape either leaving residue or marring the surface (e.g., lifting paint).

I have had many moves over the years, including several interstate that exceeded 2000 miles of road travel.With that experience, I knew this product would be incredibly useful to assist my friend in packing up decades of her treasured items to move across country.Performs as needed; Easy to roll, only tears when you want it to, great width, great adhesion to itself, and plenty on the each roll.I used it on her china, picture frames, fragiles, etc. Simply cover fragile items with a protective layer of bubble wrap, towels [that are coming anyway ;) ] etc, and then roll the film wrap around till secure.Can also be used to bind rolled carpet, or groups of items you want kept together.So easy! Would never do another big move, or any move, without having this on hand!

Great for luggage wrap
We were travelling to a country where it was important to prevent tampering with luggage. This worked very well and it was easy to unroll for luggage wrap.
Very easy
I had this when I moved and loved them so much that when my son moved, I gave them to him. When I didn't get them back I had to order more. I use them for keeping things together and I am not moving. (No more lost pieces anymore. )They are better than tape because they won't ruin the finish of anything.
Good moving tool
Used for keeping the furniture closed when moving without putting tape on them: holds well. Only flaws is the lack of cutting feature: hard to cut with one hand holding the handle.
