I absolutely love the formula of this sunscreen. It is so lightweight and hydrating for a mineral spf. It dries down to a non-sticky, natural finish that feels very comfortable on the skin. It also layers beautifully overtop of skincare and underneath makeup with absolutely no pilling whatsoever. I am very fair and don’t notice any white cast on myself and it blends in so quickly without having to over work it into the skin. It’s honestly everything I’ve been looking for in a mineral spf. For years I thought that I had to compromise on using not-so-elegant physical spf formulas due to my rosacea and sensitive skin. This formula actually helps to calm down my skin and I can already see improvement in the evenness of my skin tone after using daily for only one week. Trust that this is the only sunscreen I plan on repurchasing ever again for as long as the brand continues to make it.

im a neurodivergent teenager and have awful sensory issues when it comes to greasy sunscreens and anything on my face/near my hair and for the longest time i couldnt find a sunscreen that i could wear without crying. i also happen to have extremely fair skin which means im basically required to wear sunscreen to live (survival of the fittest i guess) this sunscreen is not greasy at all once it dries and you cannot feel it on your skin. there is no white cast and so far no down sides to this sunscreen. while putting it on, its very lightweight and not super greasy. it takes maybe 30 seconds to a minute to rub in completely and then it takes like 2 minutes to dry fully. after its dry its like it isnt even there. to me and any other person struggling with sensory issues, this is genuinely life changing. 10/10 recommend

I’m not sure if I’m going to buy it again but is a good mineral sunscreen, is smooth, lightweight, is good for sensitivity, it leaves white cast (normal for a mineral) but it disappears quickly and I don’t recommend using it under makeup or layering with other products

I used the Madagascar water fit sunscreen and it worked great for my skin, however this one leaves a white cast and I am pretty pale. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this for darker skin tones. It’s also not as blendable as the water fit one. However, since I’m pale it works under my makeup.

This is my second purchase, so I wanted to update my review with more detail.This is a surprisingly good SPF, especially if you want one that will look good underneath makeup. It feels soothing and applies smoothly, and while it isn't a primer, I kind of view it like one because of its performance under foundation makeup. Keep in mind I usually wear an SPF 50 containing zinc oxide most days. We all know how that looks underneath makeup, so all I do is brush on some foundation powder and a little bronzer and hope for the best. However, when I care about looking nice or want to use a liquid foundation, I reach for this lotion. Every. Time. I can't speak to whether or not it leaves a white cast on deeper skin tones (probably, at least temporarily), but I can say it seems less than most mineral SPFs.

Has a relatively low zinc oxide concentration, so be mindful of that, fellow skin cancer survivors! I did have SLIGHT irritation upon first application. It sits well under makeup with very little white cast. This product can be considered "reef safe" because it does not contain the UV filters (oxybenzone and octinoxate) that can be harmful to coral reefs, which is a big plus.
