It just helps if you know what your doing!!!! It did its job. We didn’t have to purchase a new TV.

I have two daughters at home (7 and 5), and for my wife and me, it’s nearly impossible to watch movies or shows without being interrupted by the noise they make. So, I did some research to find the best option for pairing two sets of headphones to our TV and decided on this product. After using it, I was really disappointed—it’s low-quality, to say the least, if not outright junk. The instructions were hard to understand, and connecting both headphones was a frustrating process. Once I finally managed to pair them, the audio kept cutting in and out. At times, instead of hearing the TV, I heard audio from my wife’s phone, and she heard audio from mine. Then both headphones disconnected, and I couldn’t get them to pair again. I eventually gave up and threw it in the trash. Definitely not recommended. I’m giving it one star only because it’s required to post the review.

This item was our second attempt at trying to connect our Sony TV to our Shaq Sound recliners via blue tooth and it works perfectly. I was so easy to install and hook up as well.

Purchased this to connect to my Bluetooth Sofa and Loveseat as my Sony TV does not provide ability to connect to two different speak systems at the same time. Used the optical cable to connect via my cable box (yes, I'm still attached to the cord) with no noticeable lag time from screen to sound.

Using this for PC gaming. Allows me to connect my Airpods easily. I like external units like this as their only job is transmitting audio (as opposed to a Bluetooth dongle which requires software and PC resources to transmit audio).PROs: Strong connection, low audio latency, easy volume control, multiple features (Receive, Transmit, Bypass Mode)CONs: Responsiveness of the buttons/modes is SLOW. I know I'm impatient but it takes a few seconds to switch between the different modes and unfortunately since I don't use Receive Mode that means a lot of waiting for it to catch up when trying to switch between Transmit and Bypass modes. Reconnecting my headphones can be hit or miss, sometimes requiring a power cycle to get them going (but once they're connected they stay connected well). Device needs to be powered on for Bypass mode :(
