I watched my pool turn blue from green within 15 minutes! Our well water has LOTS of iron in it and when I shocked my pool, it turned brown.I felt hopeless but after reading about metal out and absorbing acid I have been able to fix this giant problem! Such a great buy!! I used half a pound in my 6,200 gallon pool. Literally was like magic!!!!

Great buy if you need ascorbic acid for cooking, canning or as component for cleaning solution for ultrasonic cleaner where other acids are too aggressive.

I use powdered vitamin C (a/k/a ascorbic acid) as a natural preservative since it's a strong antioxidant. Keeps guacamole and pesto green and hummus tan. Much better price than the small bottles at the local health food store and you get plenty of it.

This ascorbic acid is a human grade version of pure vitamin C without the risk of sugars or other unnecessary ingredients. For a small mega-dose of vitamin C, I take one-half teaspoon with water and have no adverse stomach upset.
