I was looking for a small speaker that I could use in the shower and bring with me when I travel, so I immediately turned to JBL. Before, I had used a Kove Commuter 2 speaker for about 3 years and it is a decent speaker but it is starting to show its age after the tough life I have put it through. One of my roommates has a JBL Flip 6 and I have always been impressed with how well it sounds, so I decided to look into the JBL lineup.First things first, I had high expectations for JBL/Harman, but this speaker just blew those expectations out of the ballpark. Believe me when I say this speaker sounds SO GOOD. As a reference, it sounds better than my Echo Dot gen 5, and it is definitely better than my bigger and more expensive Kove Commuter 2. It is unbelievable how a speaker of this size can produce such accurate bass tones at such low volumes. Most small speakers I have had noticeably lack in the low end and sound “tin-caney” with bass heavy songs, but it’s all there with this speaker! And it gets LOUD! I mean I would have to be outside to have this thing over 80% volume. Overall what I am trying to say is this speaker has a VERY impressive dynamic range which is not compromised one bit at low & high volume levels.Another thing that impressed me what the build quality of this speaker. Most small speakers feel cheap and light, but this speaker just feels good in your hand and feels very rugged and durable. It has a good weight to it which makes it feel expensive, and although the clip form factor is new to me, I have already found it to be super useful. The grips really make it hard for this to slide around or radiate any kind of vibrations onto a surface. Also, I inspected this speaker very closely with a flashlight and couldn’t find a single slight manufacturing defect, good job JBL quality control.I chose this speaker over the Go 3 after being on the fence for a while, and I believe it was worth it. In my opinion, this product is worth $100+ for what you get and I cannot recommend it enough. I will be a returning customer to get a Flip 6 eventually.

Super fast bluetooth connectivity and the volume this puts out is perfect for listening in your own space without having it projecting onto other peoples areas. I use this all the time whether its clipped to my belt while mowing the lawn, camping with family or friends or hiking on a trail. The clip is a huge factor in why I purchased this as it attaches without effort to practically anything and makes it easy to change up the songs with a quick button press.

I gave them to all my nieces and nephews for Christmas. They loved the size, quality and brand. They especially liked that they were camouflage. It’s hard to find an actual gift to buy for 15-20 year olds but these were perfect.

This speaker is great for use in a small space. The sound quality is great, it gets super loud for its size and its portability is unmatched. The small for factor makes it so convenient to carry around and takes up no space in your bag. It also gets very loud for its size, of course not as loud as the larger JBL products, but loud and great sounding for its size. The battery life is also great and I rarely find myself charging it. I do love the design but unfortunately, the JBL logo has started peeling with the 'L' becoming completely detached and also the rubber grips on the back are falling apart after only 4 months.
