Update: 30 days into it. About 2 weeks ago I started taking 2 tsp daily, one upon wakeup and b4 bed. I have seen inches leave my stomach. I can bend over now and touch my toes. Karela is a keeper for me.Been taking half teaspoon twice a day now for about a month. What I notice is that i dont want anything sweet anymore, but if I do eat something sweet, I don't have the usual crash and sleepy feeling afterwards. I also notice that I fill up faster and am no longer part of the "clean plate club".

it not that bitter when it in your mouth it is the after taste that is overwhelmingly bitter (almost like vomit residue). the remedy: add salt. whether its powder vitamin c (works the best for me), i have also used potassium chloride, magnesium or whatever salt on hand (but not too much); which tames it to very slight to none at all. i now mix it with other extract powders in oil (mct, olive, safflower) to a pudding consistency (if by accident i get to much oil i add a very small amount of protein powder). i take it with baby spoon rinsing each bite down with very warm water (not hot). since the extracts do not dissolve i have found this way has less waste and goes down quicker.

This product arrived 3 days late, and it was damaged. The bag was popped open. It stunk. I threw it away.

Great for helping with my dry scalp. I make a paste out of it using water and some olive oil. Apply it to my scalp and hair and cover it with a shower cap. Leave it on for the recommended 2-3 hours then wash it off. This karela powder has helped my scalp to be more moisturized. The powder is finely ground and comes in a resealable bag. I like using this as it is more of a natural product without chemicals or fragrances.

This is a seemingly versatile product.You can use it on your skin and scalp, and it can be consumed.As we age we may find more and more brown patchy spots on our faces and look for ways to lighten or remove them all together.I've used it three days in a row now and am waiting with optimism for this product to work.I didn't like that the seller placed a sticker over needed information on the packaging and hopefully they will see this and stop doing that going forward.The smell isn't my favorite but I can deal with it if the product winds up providing good results, time will tell.Not sure how others are using it, if they are taking it internally, I don't think I could get past the smell or texture to try that myself.Overall feel the product is worth at least one package for trial purposes and hope to find it to be a good resource for age defiance.
