We have been looking for a new knife set to replace our old set. My wife wanted a detachable steak knife option. We had been looking for a while. Found these on Bolo and they were in the price range we were looking for. She was a little weary of the them and I reminded her we can send back if we didn't like them. We received promptly. the knives are very attractive. We love the unique handles which are very solid. We have had for a couple months now and have held up well. Some of the sharpest knives we have had. We generally always hand wash them but have mistakenly put in the dishwasher and haven't had any issues. It was also the perfect size as far as number of knives. Some sets have so many knives that never get used, this set hits all the boxes; a nice paring knife, bread knife which my wife loves, carving knife, and a couple others including very sharp kitchen scissors, six great steak knives with a removable holder which my wife also loves so we can put on the dining table during steak night.

Awesome knives. I've never had Damascus Steel, it's incredible! Very sharp and sturdy, only "drawback" is you have to hand wash.

I was expecting a slightly bigger wooden backing.....but actually find myself falling in love with its size. Its not so small that it looks ridiculous, but small enough to go anywhere in the kitchen and create compliment. If you absolutely love the culinary arts, then this isn't the size for you - BUT if your just an average person that cooks as life demands, then go for it!! Ive had a lot of compliments and have found that the 6 knives provided actually cover all my needs. They're classy, sharp and definitely added to my kitchen in a better way then the giant block of wood that housed several knives previously. Truth is, I didn't use half the knives my old block of knives provided. Im very pleased with the simplicity, design, look, and efficiency.

5 stars for sharpness, weight/feel and even look.I have to do 4 stars only because the pictures are not true. The distinct "folded" look in the pictures are highly enhanced. In reality, they are not that distinct and almost looked like it is "molded" into the blade not true folded steel.This is a very nice knife set. Very sharp. And definitely 5 stars, but deceptive pictures make it 4.

WARNING! These kitchen knives are definitely the sharpest I’ve ever used! They work great, but I had to take my wife to the ER once for a bad cut and she has cut herself twice since while using them. She is an experienced cook but there is NO room for error on these. Not for kids learning to cook or anyone else that lacks hand dexterity and fine motor control.

Base stand not durable. The knives themselves are nice...super sharp and ergonomic. They have a nice "weighty" feel which makes them easier to use. The base that holds the set, however, is not so great. The finish on the front side of the base, (the lighter color) is already wearing away, and I've had these knives for 8 months or so. Too bad the base is not solid wood with a hard finish. That would make this set 5 stars. As it is, I give it 3 because the base looks bad after the wearing away of the finish.

They're comfortable especially once you get used to them. Sounds negative but honestly I was used to cheaper knives but these cut wonderfully and arrived very sharp. I like the magnetic board a lot as it reminds me to clean and dry them right away and looks great. I haven't had to sharpen them yet but the way they're holding their edge they'll sharpen well. Got them on sale but worth the price. It makes prep sooo much easier.
