My hair was getting drier and more brittle after each wash with my regular wash and conditioning routine. I tried several different hair care lines at the recommendations of friends and professionals. Then I saw this line being used on African American hair by a stylist I follow on Instagram. She raved about it. I tried it and saw an instant difference. My hair and scalp felt 1000% better. My hair is silky and no longer breaking off. My scalp is no longer tight and itchy. I purchased the shampoo, conditioner, mask, and leave in conditioner. My hair and scalp are thanking me. This is definitely an antidote to hard water. I will definitely keep this in my repertoire.

I’ve used Amika products off and on for years. I love the way it smells. I’ve never used the hydration shampoo and conditioner but my hair has gotten dry living in the desert so I purchased the set. Initially, it did the job. But eventually it became too heavy for my hair and I had a reaction to the fragrance and formula. However, my skin and scalp had gotten more sensitive at I’ve aged so that may be it too. I would recommend the hydrating shampoo and a light conditioner.

I love love LOVE this line! I'm a relaxed, color treated 52 year old with graying edges... a whole hair nightmare lol! Amika is my new favorite! It really has a great smell, the product spreads easily in my hair and lathers really well. It also adds a good slip before adding the conditioner. I've now purchased the whole line, including the leave-in conditioner. My hair is so soft, silky and feels much thicker. I wasn't sure this would work on my hair because I'm Black but I am SOLD! I've since bought travel sets for my 2 adult daughters to try. It's a little pricey but WELL WORTH IT!!

Good! Did what it needed to do, and it makes my hair feel great! Plus, it smells really good, which is a big thing for me :) I would recommend it :) The only thing is that it is a little bit expensive, but I still think it's worth it
