Great price. Easy to install as a DIY. It works great. Delivery was quick. My husband put it in his shop. It really keeps it cool in there and puts out a lot of air. Directions were great. He loves the Bluetooth and using his phone to have it nice and cool when he wants to go into his shop. It runs fairly quiet. The display is easy to read. It did take up a fair amount of time to install it and having help is rather beneficial. It is excellent and I would highly recommend.

The install went smooth, and I loved the precharged lines. It easily cools our 200sf detached office, and like most mini splits it is very quiet. So far it has worked well from 20-100f.I have installed mini split systems in the past that required me to get an HVAC tech out to purge the lines before charging, but this time I could not find a company that could be bothered to do that for a DIY install. I considered just purchasing the a vacuum pump and doing it myself, but most mini split companies will not honor a warranty repair unless a professional does it. I was fine with no warranty, but my wife was not, so I went with the MR COOL system. Yes, it cost more, but it was worth it.

So far so good. Pretty straight forward install for a seasoned DIY'er. Got this unit to cool our newly renovated first floor. (Dining, living, + kitchen). Took a solid 6hr install from box to turning on. Not so many tools required. Definitely have to purchase 3.5" hole saw, have 2 adjustable wrenches handy, compressor stand (optional), + shroud to cover up lines at the end. Everything else is included. Works really well, cools down fast, + compressor doesn't take up too much space and is really quiet. Would recommend thus far! Follow the MANUAL!

We bought 2 for a new home in bedrooms and both worked great. Instructions were clear and not bad to install after electricians installed lines to shut off box outside. Was really surprised how the first one kept bedroom cold and humidity gone. Noise level very low and installed on stand on cement pad.

I bought this purely because of DIY (pre-charged freon). I have installed splits before but have to pay few hundred to have a tech come and charge the unit.Install directions were great, very easy to install, everything you need, although no line cover for exterior. Had entire thing installed start to finish including running electrical from power pole in less than 2 hours. Then I went in, powered it on and it started doing its thing, I was thinking wow this is great. I run the test function and while I am waiting the 30 mins it says to wait I go back outside to clean up. This is where I knew something was wrong, the outdoor unit is not running! I go back inside to make sure I didn't do something wrong and I see I have an error code. Says I have a communication error. I look it up and it says start with wires. I check everything, all labeled, all correct. I get out the voltage meter and everything checks out. Of course it's a weekend and Mr Cool is closed. So Monday morning I call, sat on hold for 10 minutes, it tells me as I am working up through the queue, then it connects... to a VOICEMAIL!! I waited 10 mins on hold to leave a message?!?! I am easy going guy, maybe a mistake, so after I leave a message I call back. This time 13 mins, same advance through the queue, connects to a voicemail AGAIN!!!! I am being persistent because this is a rental and my tenants are without AC in summer South Carolina. So now it's about 9am my time so I go ahead and use the online issue request through email and try the phone 1 more time, same result.I wait until 4 in the afternoon and never get anything back, 7 hours later. I figure lets try one more time. Work through the queue and OMG, they answer! I tell her what's wrong, she is nice and apologizes and starts giving me directions without even getting the model #!?! After the 3rd direction to check I cut her off and told her I don't have that wire, maybe if I give you the model # you can help me better. At this time she gets it and emails the troubleshoot guide. I live 30 mins away, its late in the day so I have to go tomorrow, but I ask, if this is the problem (circuit board which I assume it is) how long does it usually take? Her response was well usually only a week or two!!!! Are you kidding me, I got the unit in 4 days after I ordered, tenets understand, I understand, but now I have a brand new unit that doesn't work and its going to take 2 weeks to get the correct part!?!?Wow... I really like the product, I love that its true DIY with pre-charged lines, but customer service is just plain awful! They are really going to have to work to earn a second purchase.
