CarPlay would not connect at all even after trying several different cables.I took the Jeep to the dealer, and they quoted me $665 to “diagnose and repair” the issue — which turned out to be totally unnecessary. After some research, I learned that not all USB-C cables support data transfer, and CarPlay with the iphone16 needs a proper data-capable cable, not just a charging one.This Belkin cable fixed the problem immediately in both cars. CarPlay now connects instantly and stays connected. No glitches, no disconnects — just smooth functionality like it’s supposed to.If your CarPlay isn’t working and your phone uses USB-C, try this cord before spending hundreds at the dealership.
