Festool Beech Tenons are made from all-natural, solid hardwood for strength and stability. The Beech Tenon serves as a true floating tenon in mortise and tenon applications such as furniture, cabinetmaking, casing and frame work. The flat, elongated design will not rotate, ensuring perfect alignment for both edge and face gluing. Suitable for both plywood and solid wood applications, the dense beech tenon will not expand or telegraph through material, leaving you with clean, flat, and consistent surfaces. The DOMINO Tenon is embossed with glue pockets, and is approximately 2mm shorter than nominal length, allowing space in the mortise for glue. Tenons come in removable plastic bins.

Arrived on time and in new condition. This is a great deal if you own the DF500. If you have gone through the expense of getting a domino I hope you are using it. If you are, this is a great way to get all of the cutters and an assortment of different sized dominos at a cheaper rate than buying everything separately. When I see something from Festool discounted on Bolo, I’m automatically suspicious. However, this is original and a great deal. I had no issues with this seller and have used this in multiple furniture builds.

Like all Festool items, one of the great features is the systainer case. It locks in to the other cases securely and that saves on valuable shop space. This has trays full of different sized dominoes and all of the different size bits that I can use on DF 500 joiner.

This is good but nobody likes the price. You can look around for a lower price but be wary because the cutters may be missing and if Festool doesn't acknowledge it as a legit customer service issue they won't supply them to you gratis like they did me. Apparently the cutters being missing is a common packing problem with these kits. Maybe the people on the line get confused which Domino assortment boxes are supposed to have the cutter set and which ones are not.

This set has everything I need to accompany a new Domino purchases. The wide selection of tenons gives me flexibility as I learn the tool. The included cutters save me from buying them individually. Finally, the Systainer3 is a nice case and I appreciate the extra carrying handle over the Systainer2.Once I realized this set comes with five cutters the value proposition flipped for me as those are near $50 a peace.I give this five stars as a starter kit for someone new to the Domino. I won’t be buying it again as it’s started my setup. Domino tenon sets fill up each storage compartment perfectly as I use them.
