This is a nice set up for a beginning photographer. One of the light bulbs didn't work but other than that, it is worth the price.

i needed a simple light kit for a video project i'm working on. this one totally fit the bill. the soft boxes are fantastic and the umbrellas work exactly as you'd expect. i also like the different colors available inside the umbrellas. the ability to warm up a scene using just the lighting saved me a lot of time in post.the stands themselves are a tad on the flimsy side, but strong enough to support what they are holding. you will need to also purchase some extension cords, and probably a power strip, as the cords for the lights aren't super long. but all in all, this is a great starter kit!

For this price, you get a lot more than what you needed and paid for! The box was super heavy, I could lift it up myself that my husband has to help me. I set everything up and see which or what kind of lighting works better for me. Light works very great for indoor. I would love to try outdoor maybe in the future. I used it to take photos of my kids and portrait for my business cards. It is very easy to use and comes with bags for every items and a big bag to put everything in.

Pros: Love the kit , definitely worth buying the kit for the price it is selling for. It’s definitely worth it for someone who is trying to start off in photography! Stands and poles are sturdy, light bulbs included, sand bag included, 3 soft boxes, 2 silver umbrellas, 1 gold umbrella & 2 white umbrellas, backdrop stand, 3 backdrops (white, black & green) & a case to hold everything. Unfortunately my kit was missing the clamps and the reflectors but overall for the price - it was a good purchase.Cons: light bulbs are not bright enough (a lot of comments saying they changed to LED lights bulbs which made a huge difference), wires are not long enough so you’ll need multiple extension cords, the backdrops are super thin so they are see-through so I’d suggest putting the black one behind the white backdrop if you're going to use the white one or green to block out the back lighting.

This set I didn't expect it to be so big ! It is well worth the money if not under value of it's worth! Everything is great quality. Came with all the light bulbs and color filters. If you are looking for something to make your entire wall a green screen this product is perfect! My son likes making little videos so we have enjoyed this.
