I got this on a whim. The 1st time i tried it, i was not impressed. It was too dry and hard to spread. Still I start what I finish and I patched a decent size drywall hole. I went back the next day and checked on it. What i found was amazing, the whole was totally patched, the spackle didnt shrink and it was so smooth, I couldnt hope to have replicated it with joint compound.The next time I used it, I added some water to a spoonfull of spackle and mixed it. It basically turned into soup. I added more spackle, and more and more until finally i had the entire container mixed with the water......... and it was still too runny. I left it to airdry an hour and it became usable again.The point of that story is if you add water its much easier to work with. But add it a couple drops at a time. If you add a shotglass worth itll be like cloudy water.

The Gorilla Heavy Duty Wall Repair has been a great addition to my home repair toolkit. It works impressively well in patching up holes and cracks, providing a smooth finish.However, there’s a slight downside - the product tends to dry out if the lid isn’t secured perfectly. This requires a bit of extra caution to ensure its longevity. Despite this minor hiccup, I find it to be a valuable and effective solution for wall repairs. I would definitely recommend it, especially for those minor DIY home improvement projects.

Just make sure to heed the warnings on the back. I got the repair kit option, and on the back it says to be careful not to breath in the dust from this stuff, or to get it in your eyes. So when it's time to sand down this stuff after it dries, I'd make sure to wear some good eye protection as well as some kind of respiratory mask. But that's just me. Maybe all that's not really needed, but I like to be safer than sorry.But anyway, for anyone who needs to repair a hole or holes in some sheetrock, then I would definitely recommend this Gorilla Wall Repair spackling & primer in one. The kit comes with a little 220 grit sanding block, a 3" putty knife, and a 4" x 4" self-adhesive patch. And then, the tub that comes with IT, is an 8 ounce tub of spackling & primer. One of the other options here that's just the tub of spackling & primer by itself, is actually a 16 ounce tub. And then, if you were to get the kit, and one 4" x 4" self-adhesive patch isn't enough, then the other option here is another one of those by itself.

Super easy kit to patch holes in the wall. I have no experience and was able to quickly patch holes in our kids bathroom. Dried so quickly- was able to paint the walls within a few hours.
