I love this pitcher. For the price point it's been great. The lid has never popped off like other reviewers have stated. So simple to set up. I live in an area where the water smells wretched. Like exceeding amounts of chlorine or sulphur. I saw this pitcher and thought it'd be a better choice rather than adding things to all my faucets. The water fills up relatively quickly and tastes clean..no bad taste no smell. Best part is I use it to rinse my eyes since the faucet water was giving me steyes..yes multiple ones in each eye! Now with this and ocuclear foam to wash..all better. Best purchase I've made and ther was a coupon for filter refills

I am very happy with this filtered water pitcher. I had one other before this, can’t remember brand but was an Bolo recommended one, and the water had an odd taste. I have been happy with the taste of my water with this PUR product. I feel it is a good price and the replacement filters are not too crazy expensive. I have been diligent to replace every 2 months. Mine doesn’t have a light to remind me to replace but I didn’t want that option, just wanted something simple and effective. Depending on if you fill it directly from a refrigerator water dispenser, some fridge designs may make it difficult to fill through the lid-lift feature at the top, but the lid is easily removable and that is how I fill mine.

Clogs after 7-10 days - Doesn't work as Advertised
For a few days the Pur Plus filter that came with the pitcher drained the 4-cup tray in 20 minutes. The drain time got longer every day until after 7-10 days it took 4-5 hours to drain the tray. I closely followed online instructions to de-clog the filter (turn upside down, shake vigorously until granules move freely, rinse drain ports for 30 sec cold then 30 sec warm). This reduced drain time to 3-4 hours for one day, then it was back to 6 hours. I call Pur and they sent another filter no charge : ) But the same thing happened. I've seen many similar complaints online. Pur should should stop selling this product that doesn't work as advertised.
Improved water quality
I broke my glass water vessel so decided to get this one. I did the taste test and the quality of the water once filtered through PUR was noticeable. It's easy to use and the handle is very comfortable. I also like the sleek design. Very happy with this purchase.
Wrong dimensions
In the set of photos given the dimensions for this pitcher are given but are actually for the pitcher that is the next size up. It gives the capacity in cups as well so I should have measured that instead but I measured my broken pitcher that this one was to replace and it was the same.
Filter stopped filtering after 10-15 uses
Water is barely dripping through the filter after 10-15 uses. Have followed all the steps suggested in the FAQ of the manufacturer to no avail. Waste of money.

Received this and it had obviously already been returned by someone else. The water filter package was already open and the filter was soaking wet. Pretty bad!
