works great with our ring door bell, this has a lot of uses... you can have one in your bedroom upstairs and one in your living room so you never miss a ring, or, you can connect the one in your bedroom to say a side/back entrance camera, so it will ring only when some intruder motion is detected. Just plug and play, easy to install and use.

I have no people or windows that actually use the front door. This is a game changer and I feel so much safer being able to see whose there. It's very easy to install use. I bought the ring chime as well. Now it not only alerts me when someone is at the door via my phone app but I can hear it throughout the house. Also, as a pet owner I recommend this chime. Doorbell = crazy barking dogs. I changed the typical "ding-dong" to birds chirping and no more barking!

Works great. There’s many times I’m in the porch and I don’t hear the ring doorbell and I may not have my phone with me so the chime is plugged into an outlet on my porch. Yesterday someone was at my door. I was out on the porch and my chime went off. Happy to have it.

The Ring Chime works exactly as advertised — it alerts us to everything we need to know… and then some. Every time the mail lady shows up, the dogs react like we’re being robbed. Seriously, it’s like a full-blown security breach every afternoon!The only reason I’m not giving it a full 5 stars is that the chime itself doesn’t have built-in scheduling options. I ended up plugging it into a smart outlet with a custom schedule, so it shuts off during the day (for the sake of sanity) and turns back on at night, when I actually want to be alerted if someone enters the camera’s motion zone.Now that I’ve got that workaround in place, it’s a much better experience overall. Great product — just wish Ring would add native scheduling!

This chime goes offline at the oddest times. It comes back online later. It seems go offline predominately at night and comes back on in the morning. I see there are a lot of other complaints on this same subject.UPDATE: Bolo replaced the chime and this one seems to be working fine. I had correspondence from a Chime rep offering his help in the event I needed it. All in all, a satisfactory experience.

The Ring Chime has been a great addition to our Ring doorbell setup. It was really easy to set up and connect through the app. Now we can hear alerts throughout the house, even if our phones aren’t nearby. The volume is adjustable, and there are several tones to choose from, which is a nice touch. If you have a Ring doorbell and want to make sure you never miss a visitor or motion alert, this is definitely worth it!
