My kid just started going to beginner cricket classes and this is a great bat for practicing at home and also to take it for coaching sessions. It's the right size for 45 inch tall son. It's not too heavy and neither to light, it's the right weight for a 5 year old to play.

Wood seems not worth of cost. Marks on the face of bat and the finishing is not good. Eventhough as described, wickets fixing holder not part of kit, you have to find place where you can dig.

Light bat for light balls
Good quality but this is not for hard cricket balls, anything of that weight would snap it over time. Great value for children practicing with tennis balls etc.
