When it arrived I set it up and made a cup just to make sure it works. It made a terrible mess, just as the reviews had said: coffee grounds spewing all over, water going all over the counter. THEN, I read the directions. I had tried to grind the beans with the lid of the pod closed. Of course the coffee grounds went everywhere. I hadn’t lined the cup up in the dispenser and the water leaked. So I tried again, making these adjustments, and it worked perfectly.I love this thing! The coffee pod holds more coffee than my Keurig, and so it comes out stronger, just like I prefer.It’s hotter, so I don’t have to nuke it before I add cream. Can’t say enough good things about this thing! Buy it, but read the directions.

I’m a coffee lover I’ve had coffee lover I’ve had lots of coffee pots this is by far the best coffee pot I have ever owned I’m buying another one so if this one goes out I won’t have to wait for the order to come in great job this is the best pot for the money by far

As other reviewers have reported, the machine spews grounds all over. I contacted Cuisinart. Their customer service rep told me that the company is aware of the problem, but he did not know if or when a solution would be offered.Since I thought that some reduction in wasted coffee grounds might be achieved by having a second filter basket and holder and immediately inserting it under the grinder after the full one is removed, I asked if Cuisinart would send me a set at no cost. The rep said no. I said that since doing so might be beyond his authority level (the retail price is about $12, probably costs them a few cents for the product and a few dollars for postage), please ask someone who could make the decision. After some time on hold, the answer was still no. I'm returning mine.There might be a relatively easy fix, such as placing a small cup under the grinder to catch stray grinds, or a large tray under the whole machine, but I bought this to make my life easier, not harder.And I don't want to waste coffee. Already an expensive commodity, it's only likely to increase in cost as tariffs kick in, since virtually all coffee is grown outside the United States.I've been happy with other Cuisinart products, and other than the grounds leakage, it seems well made, but unless and until they fix the problem, I'll stick with my separate grinder and brewer, or find another combo machine from a different maker.

I like this grind and brew coffee maker. I found it convenient and enabled me to make a fresh cup of coffee. At the start, the reservoir holds enough water to make 40 ounces of brew. Since I use filtered water, I didn't need the provided filter that goes in the reservoir. Next, we need coffee beans, and this is my first complaint: instead of a wide-open bowl to pour beans into, the space is constricted by the motor for the grinder (see Figure 1). So, you will need a means of getting the beans into a narrow space. Once you do, the bean reservoir holds enough for at least ten cups of 10 ounce coffee.Grinding the beans is a learning curve. The button for grinding is an "off-on" switch; on, to grind, off to stop. Nine seconds is sufficient for my taste for a 10 ounce cup of coffee. Left on, the grinder will run for 15 seconds, which provides a strong brew of 12 ounce coffee. A built-in timer would have been handy to go with the grinder, beeping at one second intervals.The accessories include a screen container to hold fresh grounds, a plastic container to hold the screen, and a plastic container to hold K cups. For those interested, I use reusable screen K cup containers (available elsewhere on Bolo), that can be used with both of the supplied plastic holders.All-in-all, I would recommend this brewer.

This is a great coffee pot, I love it!!!When grinding your beans, just gently tap the gray pod before sliding out. It will compact the coffee grinds slightly so nothing spills when taking it out.

Personally, I like it a lot. Every morning I grind the coffee beans and make a delicious coffee. It's practical and quick to prepare. For the price, I think it's great!

Leí comentario positivos y negativos en los.negativos había gente que regreso la cafetera por temas de calidad, en lo personal llevo ya usando la cafetera unos meses y sin duda es una gran compra, funciona perfecto , y el molino así como las cápsulas excelentes , solo hace café americano pero muy buen sabor. Sin duda la recomiendo mucho en color blanco , la color negro creo que es la que ha presentado fallas, en mi caso una gran cafetera se ve increíble y a todo el que le preparo café recién molido le encanta su sabor
