I have type 2C hair, so I get a decent amount of curl, but my whole life it has just always been so unmanageably frizzy and this mousse helps so much to keep it tamed, at least until I sleep on it again. The most effective routine I've found for the frizz so far is to put some castor oil in my hair immediately after getting out of the shower while it is still dripping wet, then scrunch in some gel, let it dry, then take a generous amount of mouse and run it through my dry hair starting at the roots (where it is the frizziest for me) to the ends until it soaks in. It also smells lovely and the smell lasts for days!

I was tired of my frizzy hair and was about to have it all cut off! This product was recommended on my curly hair Facebook group. OMG! It actually works! No more frizz, curls are defined and soft. I rarely even write reviews, but had to for this one! Only $12 too! Salon prices for similar items are $30+! Highly recommend!

I love carols daughter shampoo, and conditioners, but when I tried this gel, it left my hair a little flat on top. I have fine hair, so thats probably why, im sure for thick hair, it would work better. But if a person wants a good holding gel for their hair, then they will like this .

We use Carol's Daughter exclusively now for all of our curly hair needs. We have been SO impressed with each and every product we have purchased from shampoo & conditioner to cream hair moisturizer and mousse. You can't go wrong with any of their products. They feel light but strong, last all day, smell fantastic and make your hair feel healthy!

This product must be for wash and go’s only. It’s not for styling.The foam to gel is a gimmick that doesn’t do anything for my style except flake up. Plus it doesn’t spread across the hair so you just use more to coat it. I used this twice thinking the first time it wasn’t dry enough and that’s why it flaked. Tried with flat twist and went under the dryer second time. Next day take down looked like I’ve never washed my hair in life, just made it through the most severe blizzard in history-Need to see a professional about a serious scalp issue status. There’s much snow in there. Had to go to work like that. There’s no fast fixing that.The whole line is disappointing. The wash set strips your hair dry then you attempt to add moisture back in with the leave in and foam. Come out feeling like I’ve been electrocuted.I love her other curly set and use that without issue. Guess you stick with what you know. Cuz I’m stuck with this and it’s a waste of money. Plus have to re-wash and commit more time that, again.
