I bought these simulated carbon fiber mirror caps because we had a damaged mirror, and it was easier to replace the caps instead of getting a new one painted. The new caps actually look pretty good. On close inspection, it's apparent that they are molded plastic painted to resemble carbon fiber, but from two feet away, they look very convincing. I had a little trouble getting the driver's side cap to fit, but with a little sanding around the edges, it eventually popped into place. They are definitely worth the price.

Misses the mark annoyingly close. Like the " WHY THE F*@# IS THIS NOT FITTING!!!!!!!?" close. Finish is very good, after the ridiculous nanometer adjustment of alignment and they're installed look really really nice. I recommend them... If you have patience.

Looks pretty good from far away but there is a very small gap between the cap and the spot where it’s supposed to snap in. It’s very hard to explain. Looks like it might fall off while driving.

The caps cover the side mirror perfectly except that the clips simply don't click in place which leaves the mirror cap completely loose. Don't recommend buying this product.

So here’s the thing, the product is as is, no scratches looks good and new, but it doesn’t “clip in” tightly, its hard to explain, 1 cm gap from OEM, if i had known it wasn’t going to be a tight OE Fitment i would’ve bought some from the scrap yard or from VW original parts at this point… theses feel like they are gonna fall off on the highway which i hope not, think i might just had some 3M tape
Clip came cracked and the outer shell is scratched.
Disappointed, retaining clip came cracked and the outer shell is scratched straight out of the box. Better packaging would have probably avoided this.Installed only because the original OEM cover was broken...
