The item arrives with crushed tamarind pods, and there is absolutely nothing sweet in regards to the flavor. They are extremely sour almost to the degree of lemon/lime. I have purchased tamarind pods from my local Walmart before that were sweet, boxed, and whole. These come packaged in a clear bag and are also mailed in a bag. As a result, they are crushed in transit. I would definitely not buy these ever again.

The private self taste great it’s fresh. The only problem is with Bolo and their shipping. It was packed into a plastic, thin baggie, not a bubble wrap bag or a small box so this package got squished beyond belief, breaking all of the tamarind inside so eating it was a complete pain in the neck because all the shells were smashed into the pulp And yes, even though it was delicious the shipping was horrific

I'm giving 2 stars because the 2 boxes were sent in a bag to be shipped, by the time I got them, multiple pods were already broken and I had to throw the boxes away because they were destroyed. Aside from that, the product is good.
