I cut 4 pieces of 1/2” dia. 0.035” wall 4130 steel tubing with no blade mushing like the original HF one did. I think these blades are great for the price!

My pipe cutter is old and stopped cutting in a straight line a long time ago. Instead of buying a new pipe cutter I decided to try blade replacement. I haven't used the cutter since replacing the blade. But the bade fit my cutter perfectly. I subtracted one star because I haven't cut any copper yet.

Just the right item for replacing a really worn out cutting wheel for a Superior hand sized manual pipecutter. Used some JB weld to keep the screw in place.

The edge chips\dulls fast especially on hard and rough wood. I found that frequent sharpened steel tools perform better than these. However these inserts are good for green wood turning and hogging the bulk.

The 5 mm center hole is slightly larger than the cutter on the Rigid tool (3/16"), the width a bit narrower, and the knife edge profile is more robust. This means these disks are more universally applicable but the additional slop may be a concern. Nonetheless, in my Ridgid tool, the cuts track perfectly, and surprisingly, resulted in a cleaner cleaved face in thinwall 3/4" PVC than the Ridgid disk. The cutting edge is deep enough to sever schedule 40 PVC.
