This is so user friendly. I am 72 and my hands do not work as well as they used to. This machine gives me the ease to keep doing what I love. Thank you so much!! There are also so many videos to help with everything that you want to know and how to use this.

I had been wanting a knitting machine for a very long time, but never bit the bullet because of the bad reviews. I’m pleasantly surprised to say I love this machine, and most of the bad reviews are “user error”. I won’t lie I did notice that some yarns were “sticky” and it dropped/tucked a lot of stitches. I watched alot of YouTube for hints and most of them were suggesting to mess with the tension, and that just didn’t work. You need to weigh your work down (with more weight than you would think) I use an upside down pot lid and more weight inside of it. Now those “troublesome yarns” I don’t have anymore trouble with. It is 100% plastic and I’m not expecting it to last years of consistent use, but this machine has already paid for itself many times over.

Takes some practice recommend getting some silicon spray and spray all needles as you turn it let it dry over night it will turn smoother and will reduce the noise.

The piece of cardboard that covers the needles was missing and those needles where damaged which caused issues when trying to knit. I did do a replacement which is how I got the pic of the cardboard. The replacement works perfectly. The replacement did a wonderful job knitting shown in the last 2 pictures.Update: the counter stop being accurate after 2 days. After about 7-8 rounds the counter will jump by 2. So instead of the counter showing 20 rows it’s actually at 16-17 rows. Without taking it apart I don’t know how to fix it.

The item was shipped poorly, with no packaging insulation (no packing peanuts, no bubble wrap, nothing) in a ridiculously oversized box. As a result, the machine arrived broken—the tension piece snapped completely off and the built-in row counter fully nonfunctional.Furthermore, the item description claims the knitting machine comes with these accessories: “a full set of crochet, 2 hand pins, 1 wire frame, wool thread (4 bundles of wool, 2 large and 2 small), 1 manual, 1 screwdriver, accessory bag (4 suction cups, 4 screws).” I received one plastic crochet hook, one plastic needle, two small balls of acrylic yarn (not four so-called “wool”).Point is—I do not recommend purchasing from this retailer! This is very clearly a knockoff, or at least it is the crude quality of one. An absolute waste of money. I plan to get rid of this one and purchase another from a more reputable source.

Does not operate as smoothly as indicated. Video's show people just cranking away fast. It took several youtube's and reading comments on why it drops stitches so easily. I tried several different yarns and it didn't make any difference. It will just ramdenly drop stitches, so you have to go fairly slow to watch closely to make sure you don't drop stitches. I did figure out that if I put my fingers to the left of the threader and push down with each crank it prevents dropping stitches but you still can't go as fast as what some video's show. Also wish it had a guide/pattern book with suggestions of things you can make. I don't always have access to youtube. It is a great concept but still needs to be perfected to prevent dropping stitches.

I was skeptical but decides to give it a try and gave it to my 9 yr old grand daughter for Christmas It is a hit. We have successfully made 6 beanies. Can't use thick yarn but besides that it works as advertised. Really happy with this purchase. Great gift

The knitting machine is easy to use once you understand how to start the first row. It comes with directions to assemble and use and explains what each piece is for. There is even a qr code to watch a video. I made my first knit beanie so easily and I don't know how to knit or crochet! I can't wait to make other things with it. Turning the knob does get tiring after a while of making a few beanies, so pace yourself. You could have dropped stitches if you don't pay attention to the tension of the yarn you are feeding.

2/4 balls were half used, box came taped up haphazardly and abit damaged. Definitely not a new product.
Perfect for Winter beanies.
The media could not be loaded. This is a wonderful machine.It does stick a bit if the yarn is too thick but works with most yarns in general.The yarn pictured for this beanie is a Yarnsmiths Chunky DK. The machine would struggle with a super Chunky.A con is that the suction cups are not very strong so I recommend you buy better ones.
